\nWe are looking for a dynamic and results-driven\u00a0HR & Admin Manager to lead our human resources and administrative functions in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This pivotal role will be instrumental in establishing and managing the PIL agency office, fostering business growth, and ensuring operational and financial excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strategic HR expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for aligning people practices with our corporate vision.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Strategic Vision: Develop and communicate a clear and actionable HR strategy for Tanzania, ensuring alignment with the company\u2019s long-term goals and regional business priorities.
\nStakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and department heads, to support strategic HR initiatives and foster collaboration.
\nTeam Leadership: Working closely with the country head and functional leaders to cultivate a high-performing, engaged, and values-driven organizational culture.
\nInformed Decision-Making: Make timely and well-informed decisions on HR matters, staying ahead of changes in Tanzanian labor laws and evolving workforce trends to ensure compliance and relevance.
\nChange Leadership: Drive and support organizational change initiatives, by clearly communicating benefits, addressing concerns, and facilitating smooth transitions.
\nContinuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing HR processes and systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and implementing best practices to boost efficiency and impact.<\/p>\n
Must Have<\/p>\n
Educational Background: Bachelor\u2019s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a global organization.
\nLegal & Compliance Expertise: Strong working knowledge of the Tanzanian Employment Act and its practical implications, with hands-on experience in employee relations, counseling, and disciplinary procedures.
\nAgility & Resilience: Highly adaptable and resilient, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
\nStakeholder Engagement: Excellent stakeholder management abilities, with strong communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels.
\nAttention to Detail: Meticulous, resourceful, and solutions-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n
