The Nurse is the primary point of contact for all on-site medical emergencies, responsible for providing immediate first aid and initial medical care to employees, customers, or visitors. This role requires a calm, quick-thinking, and compassionate individual with strong clinical skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nServe as the first responder to all medical emergencies, accidents, and illnesses onsite. Quickly and calmly assess the situation, determining the nature and extent of injuries or illness.<br \/>\nAdminister immediate and appropriate first aid and basic life support (BLS) as needed, including wound care, CPR, and other life-saving techniques.<br \/>\nTriage patients based on the severity of their condition and prioritize care. Conduct a quick but thorough assessment to gather essential information, such as vital signs and medical history, to inform treatment decisions.<br \/>\nLiaise with emergency medical services (EMS), doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide a clear and concise handover of the patient\u2019s condition and history. Communicate effectively with the injured individual and others on-site to provide reassurance and instructions.<br \/>\nAccurately document all incidents, treatments, and observations in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of all first aid care provided to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.<br \/>\nManage and maintain the inventory of all medical supplies and equipment in the first aid station, ensuring that all items are well-stocked, organized, and not expired.<br \/>\nActively participate in the development and implementation of on-site health and safety procedures. Conduct regular safety checks and identify potential hazards to prevent future incidents.<br \/>\nBuy vitamins and supplements<br \/>\nQualifications and Skills<br \/>\nGraduate of a recognized nursing program.<br \/>\n0-1 year of experience in a clinical or first aid-related role. Experience in a variety of project settings is a plus.<br \/>\nCurrent certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and\/or First Aid is required. Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are advantageous.<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of first aid practices, emergency procedures, and basic life support.<br \/>\nAbility to remain composed and make sound decisions in high-stress, fast-paced emergency situations.<br \/>\nClear and empathetic communication skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and external emergency services.<br \/>\nMeticulous approach to documentation and record-keeping.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.<br \/>\nAbility to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
