\nPURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
\nThe purpose of this role is to operate dump trucks in support of mining operations, perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on the equipment, and ensure all tasks are executed in line with the operational plan while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards and protocols.
\n\u00a0
\nQUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n
Completion of Secondary School Education and possess the relevant certificate.
\nThe incumbent must have a valid Tanzanian driving license, holding Class F or G will be an added advantage.
\nCandidates will be subjected to a practical test as part of the interview process.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
A minimum of 2-5 years of working experience in Mining or related field.<\/p>\n

\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Ability to operate and maintain dump trucks safely in mining operations.
\nKnowledge of mining regulations and hazard awareness.
\nStrong attention to detail and situational awareness.
\nBasic vehicle inspection and reporting skills.
\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.
\nPhysical stamina and endurance to work long hours in demanding conditions.
\nGood communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
\nEffective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving.<\/p>\n
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/p>\n
Take reasonable care for own health and safety and that of others during operations.
\nActively promote and adhere to safety standards, procedures, and practices.
\nConduct pre-start safety checks on equipment before operation.
\nReport equipment faults promptly to the supervisor and dispatch.
\nOperate the dump truck in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
\nTransport ore and waste materials safely to designated stockpiles and dumps.
\nOptimize efficiency by minimizing spotting, maneuvering, dumping, and refueling times.
\nCoordinate with Excavator Operators to ensure trucks are loaded to optimal capacity.
\nOperate modular systems in line with operational standards.
\nRespond promptly to dispatch instructions.
\nAlways follow lawful production instructions.<\/p>\n
