{"id":2374,"date":"2025-09-17T10:02:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T10:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/bancassurance-relationship-manager-at-crdb\/"},"modified":"2025-12-29T00:50:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T00:50:23","slug":"bancassurance-relationship-manager-at-crdb","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=2374","title":{"rendered":"Bancassurance Relationship Manager at CRDB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting Line<br \/>\nSenior Manager Operations \u2013 Bancassurance<\/p>\n<p>Location<br \/>\nBurundi Head Office<\/p>\n<p>Department<br \/>\nRETAIL BANKING DEPARTMENT<\/p>\n<p>Number of openings<br \/>\n1<\/p>\n<p>Job Purpose<\/p>\n<p>The Bancassurance Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance partners, bancassurance agents in branches, identifying business opportunities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote insurance products through the bank\u2019s channels, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>Principle Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, bancassurance agents, ensure regular communication and feedback and resolve issues and conflicts in a timely manner<br \/>\nBusiness Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities; Develop and execute strategies to grow bancassurance business; collaborate with sales teams to promote insurance products<br \/>\nProduct Promotion and Sales Performance: Analyze sales performance and provide insights for improvement; Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets<br \/>\nClaims and Policy Support: Make follow up through the insurance claim process, provide ongoing support for policy renewals, and address inquiries regarding insurance products.<br \/>\nReporting and Coordination: Prepare and submit regular reports on monthly to insurance companies and quarterly basis to be submitted to ARCA in copy of BRB.<br \/>\nPrepare and submit regular reports on sales performance and business development to Bancassurance Manager. Manage commission claims from insurance companies and collaborate on additional tasks to streamline and enhance bancassurance operations.<br \/>\nMeet and achieve bank sales targets for insurance products.<br \/>\nProduct Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on insurance products and services; to provide accurate and effective recommendations.<br \/>\nPerform any other duties assigned by Bancassurance Manager<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications Required<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Banking and Insurance or Business Administration<br \/>\nPrevious experience in sales at least 3 years, in insurance or banking industry<br \/>\nMarket Awareness.<br \/>\nStrong understanding of insurance products.<br \/>\nKnowledge of banking products and services<br \/>\nSales and Marketing.<br \/>\nProven experience in sales, preferably in insurance, banking, or financial services.<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills<br \/>\nStrong sales and negotiation skill<br \/>\nAbility to explain complex information clearly and concisely.<br \/>\nSales-driven with a customer-focused approach.<br \/>\nKnowledge of industry regulations.<br \/>\nExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities in languages:<\/p>\n<p>Kirundi<br \/>\nFrench<br \/>\nEnglish<\/p>\n<p>Customer-oriented with problem-solving capabilities.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.<\/p>\n<p>CRDB Commitment<\/p>\n<p>CRDB Bank is dedicated to upholding Sustainability and ESG practices and encourage applicants who share this commitment.
