ROLE: Branch Manager-Kahama<\/p>\n
Department:\u00a0Commercial Banking
\nReports to:\u00a0Head of Retail Banking
\nSummary of Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare the branch budget and strategy and ensure profitability.
\nEstablish and develop sales opportunities to archive targets and meet customers\u2019 expectations.
\nOrganizing the branch objectives in liaison with the retail officers in regard to annual objectives and sales campaigns.
\nEnsure Branch coordination; weekly and monthly meetings with retail officers, Branch meetings and training of branch staff.
\nImplement, monitor and analyse the achievements of the branch objectives.
\nBuild and improve the quality of business and retail clients.
\nMake regular customer visits to retain existing customers and to build loyalty.
\nPromote new business by selling banks products to new clients.
\nPrepare and analyze credit applications for presentation to credit department.
\nReview all branch reports and oversee daily operations of all areas of the Branch.
\nCheck and forward daily and weekly reports to Head office departments.
\nManage and monitor team workflow at the branch in line with set targets.
\nEnsure service delivery standards are maintained in the branch.
\nEnsure branch staff comply with statutory regulations and bank internal procedure.
\nBe involved in corporate social responsibility to improve visibility for the bank.
\nMonitoring the overstepping reports and advising accordingly.
\nMonitoring of commercial risk and debt collection.
\nManage term deposits.
\nProvide customer balances.
\nAdvise walk in clients on the various accounts and facilities.
\nMonitors and analyses with Sales Coordination Unit the quantitative and qualitative achievements of the branch.
\nImplements business plans prepared in collaboration with the sales coordination structure to ensure achievement of objectives.<\/p>\n

Professional skills & Experience:<\/p>\n
An Advanced Diploma\/Degree in either Commerce, Finance or Marketing.
\nA minimum of 4 years\u2019 experience in Banking Operations.
\nA good understanding of Banking Operations and Products.
\nKnowledge of Microsoft Excel Products.
\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.
\nConflict resolution skills.
\nNegotiation and influencing skills.
\nTeam player and strong leadership and management skills<\/p>\n
