Job Summary
\nOn behalf of our client, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to manage all cash transactions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle payments securely, and maintain a neat, professional appearance.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Greet customers warmly and process payments (cash, card, or mobile money) accurately.
\nIssue receipts, refunds, or change and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
\nBalance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier desk or counter.
\nAnswer customer inquiries politely and provide information on products\/services.
\nReconcile daily sales reports and hand over cash securely as per company procedures.
\nAdhere to company policies, cash handling procedures, and security standards.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Previous experience as a Cashier, Teller, or in a customer-facing role is an added advantage.
\nBasic math and computer skills with attention to detail.
\nHonest, trustworthy, and able to handle cash responsibly.
\nExcellent customer service and communication skills.
\nFluent in spoken and written English (preferred as per client).
\nWell-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
\nAbility to work under pressure and multitask in a busy environment.
\nFlexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.<\/p>\n
