\nJob Summary:
\nThe Internal Auditor will be responsible for auditing key financial and operational activities within the organization.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Daily Loan System Audit
\nDaily Loan Approval Process Audit
\nDaily Repayments and Disbursement Reconciliation
\nEnsure accurate reconciliation of daily loan repayments and disbursements.
\nIdentify, report, and work to resolve any discrepancies
\nReporting and Discrepancy Resolution
\nFinal Books of Accounts Preparation
\nConduct financial internal audits in line with the company\u2019s policies and relevant auditing standards.
\nProvide actionable recommendations to management for improving financial and operational processes.
\nMonitor implementation of audit recommendations and ensure corrective actions are completed.
\nCollaborate with other departments to foster a culture of internal control awareness.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA(T)) or equivalent.
\nMinimum of 1 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably within the microfinance, banking, or financial services sector.
\nStrong knowledge of auditing principles, financial reporting, and risk management practices.
\nExperience in audit management and preparing financial statements, particularly for f inancial institutions.
\nIn-depth understanding of Tanzanian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level for data analysis), financial software, and accounting systems.
\nSkills:<\/p>\n
Advanced Excel Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities, including the use of pivot tables.
\nHigh Computing Skills: Expertise in navigating complex financial systems and software.
\nBig Data Reporting: Ability to handle large datasets and report on trends, discrepancies, and risk.
\nHigh Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate audit findings, reports recommendations
\nFollow-up Skills
