CSSC coordinates a network of more than 900 church-owned health facilities, the majority of which are rural-based, contributing nearly 14% of all health facilities in Tanzania, and 1,000 church-based education institutions providing 10% of all education services offered in Tanzania.<br \/>\nMinistry of Health, through Global Fund Cycle 7 (GFC7) Grant support, implements an essential TB\/HIV Community-based Program (Oct 2025 \u2013 Dec 2026) in support of the national effort to sustain and expand community HIV and TB services. The GFC7 community-based program is implemented in collaboration with Lead CSO \u2013 Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) and four Sub-sub Recipients (SSRs): TAYOA, NACOPHA, MKUTA and STEPS. The program focuses on community-based TB\/HIV services across 185 councils and prioritises peer-led service delivery and integration with Local Government Authorities.<br \/>\nBuy vitamins and supplements<br \/>\nProgram Goals<\/p>\n<p>Reduce new HIV infections by 85% (from 2010 baseline) by 2025.<br \/>\nReduce mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) to &lt;4% at the end of breastfeeding by 2025.<br \/>\nReduce AIDS-related deaths by 80% from the 2010 baseline.<br \/>\nReduce HIV-related stigma to &lt;5% by 2025.<br \/>\nReduce TB incidence and mortality through enhanced detection, treatment, and prevention.<\/p>\n<p>CSSC is now seeking applications from highly qualified, well-experienced, competent, and motivated persons to fill the following position:<br \/>\nPosition Details<\/p>\n<p>Job Title:<br \/>\nTechnical Project Manager \u2013 1 Post<br \/>\nJob application tools<\/p>\n<p>Reports To:<br \/>\nProgram Director<\/p>\n<p>Duty Station:<br \/>\nDar es Salaam<\/p>\n<p>Job Summary<br \/>\nThe Technical Project Manager will report directly to the Program Director and provide technical oversight for the GFC7 program. Responsibilities include effective planning, execution, and monitoring of the work plan; leading quarterly work plans and reports; facilitating cross-team communication; and overseeing technical tasks to achieve project objectives. The role represents the GFC7 project at national and regional\/council levels, adheres to guidance from the Global Fund, Government, and CSSC, and aligns with international best practices. The Manager will maintain regular communication with the Program Director, provide timely progress updates, and ensure delivery of technical outputs and outcomes within the project timeframe.<br \/>\nJob application tools<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Program oversight and strategic planning:\u00a0Provide expert guidance to SSRs and across supported regions and councils for the design, implementation, and evaluation of activities.<br \/>\nLead zonal-level coordination and implementation of community TB\/HIV interventions in line with targets and timelines.<br \/>\nSupervise and mentor zonal teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of interventions.<br \/>\nTechnical support and implementation:\u00a0Support SSRs to prioritise community-based interventions and optimise HIV testing approaches and modalities.<br \/>\nAccelerate TB\/HIV case finding and strengthen linkages to care and treatment services.<br \/>\nFacilitate community engagement and collaboration with RHMTs, CHMTs, health facilities, and partners.<br \/>\nStakeholder engagement and coordination:\u00a0Ensure effective communication between technical teams, SSRs, government counterparts, and other entities to maintain consistency and quality.<br \/>\nSupport RHMTs, CHMTs, and LGAs to strengthen local government engagement, integration, and ownership.<br \/>\nOrganise and facilitate project review and consultation meetings with stakeholders at national, regional, and council levels.<br \/>\nData management and performance monitoring:\u00a0Monitor project databases and indicators to assess performance and recommend improvements.<br \/>\nOversee data verification, performance reporting, and follow-up on corrective actions for underperforming SSRs and councils.<br \/>\nCollaborate with M&amp;E teams, NASHCoP, and NTLP to analyse, compile, and report TB\/HIV community-related data.<br \/>\nReporting and compliance:\u00a0Ensure timely, accurate preparation of CSSC GF project reports per the GFC7 Performance Agreement.<br \/>\nEscalate risk and compliance issues to the Project Director and support mitigation measures.<br \/>\nAssist the Program Director in meeting technical, governmental, CSSC, and Global Fund deliverables.<br \/>\nSupervision and review:\u00a0Plan and coordinate joint supportive supervision visits with SR\/SSR teams and GFC7\/MOH oversight; document findings.<br \/>\nFacilitate zonal review meetings to promote communication, information sharing, and resolution of implementation bottlenecks.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>Education:\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in a health-related field from a recognized university\/college (required). Master\u2019s degree in Public Health, Project Management, or Social Sciences (mandatory).<br \/>\nProfessional Experience:\u00a0Minimum 7 years managing donor-funded health programs, including at least 3 years in a supervisory\/coordination capacity.
