\nAbout Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL)\u00a0Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is a Limited Liability Company incorporated under the Companies Act (CAP 212) 2002, following the dissolution of the former Air Tanzania Corporation (ATC). The company is 100% owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. ATCL is currently implementing a 5-year Corporate Strategic Plan (2022\/23-2026\/27) to strengthen its fleet and provide reliable, seamless, safe, and high-quality services. To support its expansion ambitions and enhance flight operations, ATCL invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Accountant I (Cost Accounting).
\nPosition: Accountant I (Cost Accounting) (1 Post)
\nMinimum Entry Qualifications<\/p>\n
Must be a holder of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration\/Commerce majoring in Accountancy, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
\nMust hold either CPA(T), ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification recognized by the NBAA.
\nMust have four (4) years of working experience.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Collect cash and cheques and pay authorized petty cash.
\nReconcile cash balance.
\nPrepare revenue accounts documentation.
\nDispatch voucher lists to Head of Sections.
\nMake batching of payment vouchers as per cashbook.
\nMaintain Petty Cash Book and Register.
\nCarry out regular bank reconciliation.
\nRecord financial transactions in the accounting system.
\nPerform any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n

Ten (10) years contract for Tanzanians with attractive remuneration and fringe benefits as per ATCL Salary Structure and Incentive Scheme.<\/p>\n
