\nJob Summary
\nKCCO is seeking a skilled and passionate Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer to support the design, implementation, and management of M&E systems for eye health programs. The M&E Officer will ensure accurate data collection, analysis, reporting, and learning processes that inform evidence-based decision-making and strengthen programme impact.

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Design, implement, and manage M&E frameworks and tools to track program performance and impact.
\nCollect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from field activities.
\nDevelop and maintain project databases and dashboards to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
\nPrepare periodic reports, success stories, and evidence briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
\nConduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments, as well as outcome and impact evaluations.
\nBuild the capacity of project staff and partners in M&E, data management, and reporting standards.
\nCollaborate with program managers and researchers to ensure alignment between project goals and M&E systems.
\nEnsure compliance with donor reporting requirements and KCCO\u2019s data quality standards.
\nContribute to research, publications, and dissemination of findings to inform policy and practice.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience
\nEducation<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
\nA Master\u2019s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, preferably in health, eye health, or community-based programs.
\nProven track record in designing and implementing M&E frameworks and tools.
\nExperience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, STATA, etc.) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, etc.).
\nExperience working with NGOs, international development agencies, or donor-funded projects is highly desirable.<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of results-based management (RBM), logical frameworks, and performance measurement plans.
\nExcellent data management, analytical, and report-writing skills.
\nAbility to train and mentor staff in M&E practices.
\nStrong computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and data management software.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.<\/p>\n
