TOAM coordinates and promotes the development of organic farming among farmers, distributors, and consumers through networking and information distribution. Also, TOAM serves as the Secretariat of the implementation task force (ITF) for the National Ecological Organic Agriculture Strategy (NEOAS) implementation.<br \/>\nTOAM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced NEOAS Coordinator to lead the coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of NEOAS activities at the national level.<br \/>\nJob Vacancy: NEOAS Coordinator<\/p>\n<p>Position: National Ecological Organic Agriculture Strategy (NEOAS) Coordinator<br \/>\nDuty Station: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania<br \/>\nContract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (renewable based on performance and funding)<br \/>\nReports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), TOAM<\/p>\n<p>Purpose<br \/>\nTo lead and coordinate the strategic implementation of the NEOAS, positioning ecological organic agriculture as a cornerstone of sustainable development for Tanzania\u2019s agriculture sector. The coordinator will serve as a pivotal leader in mobilizing stakeholders, ensuring effective policy integration, resource mobilization, and monitoring progress toward transformational outcomes for farmers, markets, climate resilience, and environmental sustainability.<br \/>\nJob application tools<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Strategic Leadership &amp; Roadmap Development: Design, develop, and continuously refine a comprehensive implementation roadmap in collaboration with the ITF members, ministries, and stakeholders.<br \/>\nStakeholder Engagement &amp; Partnership Building: Lead efforts to secure commitments from government agencies, civil society, the private sector, and development partners. Foster relationships to leverage funding, technical support, and strategic alliances.<br \/>\nResource Mobilization &amp; Investment Planning: Co-create and execute a national funding and investment strategy aligned with NEOAS priorities. Advocate for ecological organic agriculture in national policy agendas and financing mechanisms.<br \/>\nPolicy Advocacy &amp; Positioning: Identify opportunities to embed EOA principles within national agricultural, climate, and development policies. Represent the initiative at high-level forums and negotiations.<br \/>\nMonitoring, Evaluation &amp; Reporting: Establish robust monitoring and evaluation (M&amp;E) frameworks to track implementation progress, outcomes, and impacts. Provide regular, concise reports for stakeholders, funders, and policymakers.<br \/>\nOperational Oversight &amp; Facilitation: Ensure the effective functioning of the ITF, including convening meetings, producing policy briefs, organizing public engagement events, and managing resources efficiently (liaising with zonal coordinators\/focal personnel).<br \/>\nCommunication &amp; Stakeholder Dialogue: Promote transparency and inclusive dialogue through effective communication channels.
