This beautiful lodge opened under the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts family in December 2012, and has 77 rooms including 12 suites and 5 villas, 3 stunning Food and Beverage venues, our unique Discovery Centre offering an interactive experience where you can learn about the wildlife, history and people of the Serengeti, Kijana Kids Club, a spa with 6 free-standing treatment pavilions offering bespoke rituals and treatments that celebrate Africa\u2019s magic and mystique, fitness center and a dedicated team bringing your magical wildlife safaris experiences to life.<\/p>\n<p>BASIC PURPOSE:\u00a0<br \/>\nProvide support and clerical expertise to People and Culture Coordinator and supporting Lodge employee with any People and Culture related issues.\u00a0 Respond to inquiries in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum employee, guest, or vendor satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons\u2019 policies and procedures.<br \/>\nEssential Functions<\/p>\n<p>Conduct self in a professional manner at all times, adhering to Four Seasons\u2019 standards of conduct, policies, and service culture.<br \/>\nDress in the issued uniform and maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and notify the Manager promptly in the event of absence or delay.<br \/>\nComply with all\u00a0Category One and Category Two Work Rules\u00a0and\u00a0Standards of Conduct\u00a0as set forth in the Employee Handbook.<br \/>\nCoordinate all\u00a0Lodge employee ground transportation\u00a0requirements and transportation allowances for line and supervisory employees. Ensure accuracy, fairness, and adherence to policy in all related transactions.<br \/>\nFacilitate and manage the\u00a0Park Fee service\u00a0provided to Lodge employees in collaboration with Finance and relevant authorities.<br \/>\nServe as an\u00a0objective resource\u00a0in employee counseling and conflict resolution, maintaining confidentiality and escalating complex matters to the People &amp; Culture Manager when appropriate.<br \/>\nSupport the\u00a0recruitment and onboarding process, including responding to applications within 48 hours, scheduling interviews, checking references, preparing new hire documentation, and ensuring a seamless arrival experience.<br \/>\nCoordinate and organize\u00a0employee engagement activities, including social, sports, recognition, and well-being events. Prepare communication materials, posters, and digital updates, and ensure visibility of event highlights through photos, videos, and notice boards.<br \/>\nPrepare and maintain the\u00a0Monthly Employee Relations Calendar\u00a0and oversee activities that enhance engagement and employee experience.<br \/>\nSupervise and inspect\u00a0employee accommodations\u00a0regularly to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for new arrivals. Coordinate with Accommodation and Engineering teams for maintenance needs and amenity placement.<br \/>\nOversee the general upkeep, functionality, and cleanliness of employee facilities, including the\u00a0Cafeteria, Recreation Room, Employee lounge, and Gym. Report any issues promptly to the relevant departments.<br \/>\nManage internal\u00a0employee communication platforms\u00a0(e.g., Direct Line meetings, notice boards, internal social media channels, discussion database) ensuring timely and accurate updates.<br \/>\nEnsure full understanding and compliance with the\u00a0Four Seasons \u201cLead With Care\u201d Health &amp; Safety Program\u00a0and participate in all required training and meetings.<br \/>\nProvide\u00a0administrative support\u00a0to the People &amp; Culture Department including typing, filing, correspondence, database management, translation, and reporting.<br \/>\nSupport People &amp; Culture projects, employee documentation, and communication tasks as assigned by the Director of People &amp; Culture.<\/p>\n<p>Government job applications<br \/>\nJob board advertising<br \/>\nNon-Essential Functions<\/p>\n<p>Provide support to other departments during critical or high-occupancy periods as part of the\u00a0Crunch Team.<br \/>\nAssist with the coordination of\u00a0training programs\u00a0in the absence of the Learning &amp; Development Coordinator.<br \/>\nParticipate actively in\u00a0Lodge Fun and Connectivity activities\u00a0to promote togetherness and positive culture.<br \/>\nSupport People &amp; Culture special projects or initiatives as assigned.<br \/>\nMaintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with all colleagues and supervisors.<br \/>\nMay be temporarily assigned to the Arusha logistics office or other locations as operationally required.<br \/>\nEnsure employee areas including the cafeteria, employee entrance, and accommodations are clean, orderly, and reflective of Four Seasons standards.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n<p>Education:\u00a0High School Diploma required; additional HR or administrative certification preferred.<br \/>\nExperience:\u00a0Previous administrative or People &amp; Culture\/HR experience preferred; hospitality experience an asset.<br \/>\nSkills and Abilities:<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nFluent in English and Swahili (written and spoken).<br \/>\nProficient in Microsoft Office and standard HR systems.<br \/>\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br \/>\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.<\/p>\n<p>School supplies<\/p>\n<p>Number of Employees Supervised:\u00a00<br \/>\nTravel Required:\u00a0Arusha Offices<br \/>\nHours Required:\u00a0Nine-hour shift with one-hour break; schedule may vary based on business needs.<br \/>\nSponsorship: The company is unable to sponsor work or residency permits for this position.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
