Job Purpose<\/p>\n
Configure customer services with subscribed QoS and policies across all elements and devices.
\nAct as a\u00a0technical escalation point\u00a0and provide\u00a0advanced troubleshooting\u00a0for service-related challenges, ensuring timely resolution within MTTR and SLA.
\nProvide\u00a0Root Cause Analysis (RCA)\u00a0in the\u00a0Reason for Outage (RFO)\u00a0reports.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage performance of the\u00a0core, distribution, and access infrastructure, including transmission networks, upstream IPLC, and Internet capacities (POPs).
\nEnsure continuous service with\u00a0high availability\u00a0and minimal disruption, targeting an\u00a0uptime of 99.9%.
\nSafeguard network infrastructure against unauthorized access and abuse of services.
\nWork independently and collaboratively to perform accurate\u00a0root cause analysis\u00a0and resolve multi-system dependencies.
\nPlan, design, coordinate, and implement\u00a0network projects\u00a0within the department and company-wide to ensure customer requests are addressed effectively and timely.
\nPrepare and maintain\u00a0network diagrams and reports\u00a0to support operations and documentation.
\nConduct\u00a0thorough monitoring\u00a0of capacity utilization across all network devices, services, and core\/distribution\/access networks.
\nEnsure\u00a0timely escalation\u00a0and minimal MTTR for any noted service degradation or failures.<\/p>\n
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities<\/p>\n
Minimum of\u00a03+ years of relevant experience\u00a0in network operations or related roles.
\nStrong knowledge of configuration and monitoring of\u00a0routing protocols\u00a0(IS-IS, BGP, etc.).
\nHands-on experience in\u00a0Campus, Distribution, and Core Switching\u00a0configuration and monitoring.
\nBasic understanding of\u00a0Power\/UPS scaling and optimization.
\nDeep understanding of\u00a0NOC functions, including monitoring, advanced troubleshooting, and analysis tools.
\nExpertise in\u00a0IP\/MPLS\u00a0design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
\nFamiliar with\u00a0VSAT networks\u00a0\u2013 installation and configurations.
\nSkilled in\u00a0LAN policy design, implementation, and troubleshooting, including network services and security.
\nKnowledge of\u00a0Fiber network restoration, design, and best practices.
\nStrong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.<\/p>\n
Education and Certifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree\u00a0in\u00a0Telecommunications,\u00a0Electrical, or\u00a0Computer Engineering.
\nProfessional Certifications\u00a0(added advantage):<\/p>\n
Cisco\u00a0CCNA \/ CCNP
\nJuniper\u00a0JNCIA \/ JNCIS-ISP
