Position : Anesthesia technician
\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented anesthesia technician to be responsible for the care and comfort of our patients before, during, and immediately after medical and surgical procedures. The anesthesiologist is responsible for monitoring patient health through the administration of anesthesia and other medication.<\/p>\n
To be a successful anesthesia technician , you should be meticulous in your work, focused, and detail-oriented. You should be able to work under intense pressure and stress as you are responsible for people\u2019s lives.
\nAnesthesia technician Responsibilities:
\nMeeting with patients before medical procedures to discuss their medical history and lifestyle.
\nAssessing patients\u2019 conditions through analysis of medical history.
\nExplaining to patients the surgical process.
\nAdministering anesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs during medical and surgical procedures, and making appropriate adjustments in anesthesia to ensure patient comfort.
\nMonitoring patient vital signs and pain management after surgical and medical procedures to ensure patient comfort.
\nMaintaining patient records relating to their procedures and the type and amounts of medications given.
\nAnesthesia technician Requirements:
\nA Diploma in Nurse with a 2-4year residency in anesthesiology.
\nA valid state license and malpractice insurance.
\nA strong working knowledge of maths, science, and medical practices.
\nStrong detail-oriented ability.
\nExcellent communication skills.
\nAbility to make quick decisions in a highly stressful environment.
