\nAre you experienced in logistics and international trade? Do you excel in fast-paced environments where precision and coordination are essential? We\u2019re seeking a\u00a0Senior Export Logistics Coordinator to manage the end-to-end export process for our fresh produce\u2014primarily avocados\u2014from order confirmation to final delivery, ensuring our products reach global markets efficiently, safely, and on time.
\nKey Responsibilities include:

Manage the end-to-end export process, ensuring timely and compliant shipment of goods.
\nCoordinate between internal teams \u2014 sales, finance, and production \u2014 to align order processing and dispatch schedules.
\nCoordinate with packhouse teams to align dispatch with quality and grading standards.
\nWork closely with packhouse teams to ensure products meet quality and grading standards before export.
\nLiaise with government authorities to secure all necessary export permits, phytosanitary certificates, and certificates of origin.
\nPrepare and verify export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
\nEngage with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to arrange shipments, negotiate rates, and monitor delivery progress.
\nEnsure full compliance with international trade laws, customs requirements, and company export policies.
\nMaintain cold chain integrity throughout the logistics process for perishable goods.
\nCommunicate with clients regarding shipment updates, documentation, and payment follow-ups.
\nTrack and report on logistics performance, addressing any delays or inefficiencies.
\nReview and reconcile freight invoices, customs charges, and related expenses.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
\n2\u20133 years of experience in export logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
\nFamiliarity with East African trade and export regulations.
\nStrong knowledge of export procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
\nProficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP or logistics management systems.
\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments and tight deadlines.<\/p>\n
