We work in partnership to create an inclusive society for all.<br \/>\nAbout the role:<br \/>\nThe Learning and Adaptation Specialist will provide strategic leadership in fostering a culture of continuous learning, evidence-based decision-making, and adaptive management across CBM\u2019s initiatives and country offices. In this role, you will design and facilitate reflective learning processes, develop and manage knowledge-sharing platforms, and build staff and partner capacity to capture, synthesize, and apply learning through innovative tools and compelling storytelling. The primary objective of the position is to ensure that learning is systematically integrated into programmatic and strategic decision-making, driving meaningful change, inclusive participation, and improved outcomes across the organization.<br \/>\nThis position is only filled locally in one of CBM\u2019s permanently established entities:\u00a0(ex: Berlin or Bensheim (Germany), the UK (Cambridge or remote), the US (remote), Nairobi (Kenya), Abuja (Nigeria), Lom\u00e9 (Togo), Yaound\u00e9 (Cameroon), Lusaka (Zambia), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Guatemala City, Kampala (Uganda), Niamey (Niger), etc.<br \/>\nLocal contractual conditions of the respective country will apply. Expatriation is not intended.<br \/>\nThese are your responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Facilitate learning and adaptation by embedding reflective practices, promoting knowledge exchange, and fostering evidence-based change across initiatives and countries.<br \/>\nDevelop mechanisms to communicate right-sized data to decision-makers.<br \/>\nStrengthen staff and partner capacity through tools, workshops, and processes that capture, synthesize, and apply knowledge to inform strategies and decision-making.<br \/>\nLead cross-country learning through Pause and Reflect sessions, Global Learning Forums, peer exchanges, and the MERLA Community of Practice, ensuring lessons are documented, shared, and applied.<br \/>\nDevelop and manage knowledge products and digital tools (e.g., AI, visualization platforms) to expand access and engagement.<br \/>\nTranslate technical learning into clear narratives and build staff capacity in storytelling to generate impactful learning assets.<br \/>\nLead the Learning Agenda by identifying priorities, documenting findings, and sharing lessons across stakeholders.<br \/>\nSupport change management by capturing and sharing programmatic adaptations and integrating MERLA into fundraising processes.<br \/>\nDevelop metrics to assess the reach and influence of learning on decision-making.<br \/>\nRepresent CBM at meetings, conferences, and with partner networks, and contribute to reports, presentations, and other knowledge products.<br \/>\nTravel periodically to CBM country offices to facilitate learning, capacity exchange, and partner engagement.<\/p>\n<p>These are your qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Master\u2019s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Organizational Learning, International Development, Public Health, Social Sciences).<br \/>\nProven expertise in facilitating data-driven learning and culturally sensitive strategic communications.<br \/>\nExperience convening in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning events.<br \/>\nDemonstrated ability to develop knowledge products and communications materials (e.g., reports, briefs, presentations, newsletters, blogs).<br \/>\nExperience in capacity strengthening through training, coaching, or mentorship.<br \/>\nStrong facilitation, organizational, and project or event management skills.<br \/>\nFamiliarity with knowledge management systems and digital learning platforms.<br \/>\nIndependent, agile, and flexible working style with strong collaboration skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.<br \/>\nProfessional-level proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking); proficiency in French preferred; additional languages an asset.<br \/>\nIdentification with Christian values and alignment with CBM\u2019s mandate.<\/p>\n<p>Buy vitamins and supplements<br \/>\nWhat we offer<\/p>\n<p>A meaningful position with a lot of creative freedom in the world\u2019s leading organisation in the field of Disability Inclusive Development<br \/>\nA fair salary and other social benefits based on the local conditions in the country you apply for<br \/>\nAn approachable, agile organisation with self-reliant people in a diverse and collegial team and great team spirit<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
