It also involves identifying, analyzing, and mitigating market risks that could impact on the organization\u2019s profitability, assets, and stability. This role focuses on evaluating market trends, assessing potential threats, and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the bank financial performance.<br \/>\nRoles &amp; Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u2022Identify and evaluate potential market, liquidity and capital risks that may impact the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.<br \/>\n\u2022Evaluate the impact of the shift in external factors on strategic planning including changes in the market landscape to technological advancements or shifts in customer preferences.<br \/>\n\u2022Perform oversight into the implementation of proactive and effective management of market, liquidity and capital risks.<br \/>\n\u2022Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to anticipate potential risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.<br \/>\n\u2022Perform, Collect and analyze financial data to predict risk trends.<br \/>\n\u2022Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and stakeholders.<br \/>\n\u2022Responsible for setting and monitoring risk appetite limits and thresholds as approved by the Board<br \/>\n\u2022Provide updates to regulators and respond to inquiries into company\u2019s capital risk, liquidity risk and market risk functions following appropriate governance<br \/>\n\u2022Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal Policies and Standards.<br \/>\n\u2022Proactively look for ways to improve the control environment by considering what could go wrong in the processes you operate and how errors could be prevented<br \/>\n\u2022Contribute to the strategy recommendations for Liquidity Risk, Capital Risk and Market Risk management<br \/>\n\u2022Provide technical recommendations and advice on risk issues to senior management<br \/>\nQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<br \/>\n\u2022Bachelor\u2019s degree from a reputable university preferably in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics or Mathematics or related discipline.<br \/>\n\u2022Any additional relevant compliance related professional certifications will be an added advantage, CPA or CRMA, MBA, CFA, Data Analytics.<br \/>\n\u2022At least 3 years of banking experience in risk management external and\/or internal Audit.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
