{"id":2556,"date":"2025-10-15T10:00:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T10:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/stores-assistant-at-kairuki-university\/"},"modified":"2025-10-25T00:50:16","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T00:50:16","slug":"stores-assistant-at-kairuki-university","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=2556","title":{"rendered":"Stores Assistant at Kairuki University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stores Assistant<br \/>\nKairuki University<br \/>\nDar es salaam<br \/>\nKairuki University (KU) is hiring!<br \/>\nApplications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Tanzanians to fill the position of:<br \/>\nJOB TITLE:\u00a0Stores Assistant<br \/>\nSummary Description:<br \/>\nThe Stores Assistant is responsible for managing accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage conditions, and coordinating with departments to fulfil material requests.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and supplies.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.<br \/>\nOrganize and manage storage areas for optimal efficiency.<br \/>\nIssue materials and products as per requisitions.<br \/>\nConduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with safety and storage regulations.<br \/>\nCollaborate with procurement and logistics teams.<br \/>\nCollaborate with relevant staff in the preparation and management of budgets.<br \/>\nPerforms any other duties assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Excellent knowledge of storekeeping or inventory management<br \/>\nProficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office<br \/>\nGood communication and reporting skills.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Holder of Diploma in Procurement, Material management, Logistics or related field with three (3) years relevant working experience in related role.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
