Job Purpose:
\nResponsible to support Agri Retail team in terms of pre and post approval Partnership engagement processes, relationships and reports that include analysis, interpretation, and recommending appropriate partnership engagement for further review and approval.<\/p>\n
Main Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare engagement documents such as NDA and related draft documents while ensuring engagement conditions are captured and liaise with Credit\/Legal departments on the same.
\nProvide day-to-day assistance to clients and partners, addressing their inquiries and solving any issues that arise.
\nPerform secretarial duties in departmental meetings and ensure timely execution of agreed actions with partners and our bank.
\nPrepare necessary reports and documents for internal and external stakeholders including Bancassuarance, Credit, Quality Assurance, Auditors and BOT examiners etc.
\nAssist in managing partners\u2019 accounts, including monitoring account activities and transactions
\nPrepare periodic reports on partners\u2019 performance when needed, compliance to post approval or engagement with bank and documentation for Management and respective forums\/committees.
\nMonitor daily performance with engagement of Relationship Managers and branches on expiring phase of partners, breach of terms and corrective actions needed.
\nAct as a liaison between the partners and the Bank, ensuring smooth and effective communication.
\nAssist Relationship Managers in onboarding new partners, making sure the process is seamless and all necessary information is collected and processed appropriately.
\nDaily review of expired agreements and obligations to be met in collaboration with legal and Compliance departments.
\nConduct Market Research to provide insights and support the department in crafting strategies that benefit the bank on partnerships.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) in English & Swahili.
\nSound understanding of Business Banking products and services.
\nKnowledge of Core Banking Operating System (Flex cube) and Business Intelligence (BI) system.
\nStrong computer skills proficient in outlook, word, excel & power point.
\nExcellent interpersonal and networking skills for both internal and external customers.
\nAbility to effectively prioritize, manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
\nWell-developed analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
\nIndependent, team player with ability to work under minimum supervision.
\nKnowledge in review and drafting legal contracts<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, and\/or other relevant fields
\nAt least 2 years\u2019 experience in Retail Banking\/Credit\/Legal department.
