With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world\u2019s most pressing heath challenges.<\/p>\n<p>PATH seeks\u00a0three Regional\u00a0Malaria\u00a0Senior Clinical\u00a0Officer\u00a0for the\u00a0USG-funded Reaching every at-risk community and household with malaria services (REACH Malaria) global project. REACH aims to provide implementation support services and technical\u00a0assistance\u00a0to countries to accelerate progress in comprehensive delivery of facility and community-based malaria services, including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), health systems strengthening, data collection and use for service delivery, and other malaria prevention interventions.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0three\u00a0Regional\u00a0Malaria\u00a0Senior Clinical\u00a0Officers\u00a0will\u00a0be located in\u00a0Lindi, Mtwara, and Ruvuma\u00a0and will\u00a0report to the\u00a0Malaria\u00a0Technical\u00a0Advisor.\u00a0They will\u00a0coordinate\u00a0implementation of\u00a0malaria\u00a0interventions in the\u00a0region,\u00a0coordinating\u00a0with relevant\u00a0Regional and Council\u00a0health\u00a0officials at subnational level, PATH technical\u00a0teams\u00a0and other implementing partners.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates should clearly\u00a0state\u00a0in their applications which region they are applying for<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Manage\u00a0implementation of project activities at\u00a0regional,\u00a0council,\u00a0facility, and community\u00a0levels, collaborating closely\u00a0with\u00a0Regional\/Council Health Management teams,\u00a0NMCP and\u00a0other local partners.<\/p>\n<p>Support the\u00a0Malaria Technical Advisor\u00a0to develop\u00a0regional\u00a0workplan, budgets and\u00a0project\u00a0performance reports<\/p>\n<p>In coordination with the REACH Senior\u00a0Leadership\u00a0team, support project teams to\u00a0identify\u00a0technical\u00a0assistance\u00a0needs and ensure regional\u00a0assistance\u00a0is provided in an efficient and effective manner<\/p>\n<p>Work closely with Senior Leadership Team to respond to requests for information and ensure REACH Malaria project leadership and USG are informed\u00a0in a timely manner\u00a0regarding\u00a0project challenges, or changes to work plans or budgets, and\u00a0disseminating\u00a0key results.<\/p>\n<p>Liaise with all relevant\u00a0stakeholders, including\u00a0subnational\u00a0Regional \/councils health teams,\u00a0universities, civil\u00a0society\u00a0and private sector to implement planned activities<\/p>\n<p>Establish and\u00a0maintain\u00a0positive working relationships with\u00a0project partners.<\/p>\n<p>Contribute technical\u00a0expertise\u00a0in\u00a0relevant\u00a0subnational\u00a0coordination meetings\u00a0and\u00a0provide\u00a0input on standard operating procedures\u00a0and\u00a0guidelines\u00a0for project\u00a0implementations<\/p>\n<p>Work with in-country and PATH administrative contacts to\u00a0facilitate\u00a0contractual and financial reporting requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Provide\u00a0technical\u00a0expertise\u00a0and guidance to the malaria program\u00a0at\u00a0regional\u00a0and\u00a0council\u00a0level, ensuring high-quality interventions across all technical areas.<\/p>\n<p>Conduct\u00a0joint\u00a0field visits\u00a0with Regional and Council Health Management Teams\u00a0for supportive supervision and mentorship\u00a0to\u00a0health facilities and\u00a0CHWs\u00a0to ensure adherence to\u00a0established\u00a0guidelines and\u00a0protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Required skills and experience:<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0minimum of\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s\u00a0degree in\u00a0public health\u00a0or\u00a0medical sciences\u00a0required.\u00a0A\u00a0medical degree\u00a0with a\u00a0postgraduate qualification in\u00a0public health or similar\u00a0is preferred.<\/p>\n<p>A minimum of\u00a0five\u00a0years of experience\u00a0coordinating\u00a0technical activities\u00a0in\u00a0malaria service delivery\u00a0programs<\/p>\n<p>Experience supporting\u00a0USG\u00a0funded projects and familiarity with malaria\u00a0or public health\u00a0programs.<\/p>\n<p>Proven team leadership and\u00a0strong management skills, including\u00a0use of planning and supervision tools, management of program, documentation, budget\u00a0monitoring\u00a0and oversight.<\/p>\n<p>Experience interfacing with and navigating governmental and nongovernmental organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated effective project management and organizational skills.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated capacity to build and\u00a0maintain\u00a0productive working relationships with a wide network of local partners and stakeholders with minimal supervision<\/p>\n<p>Excellent\u00a0English\u00a0written and oral communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>Team-oriented and ability to\u00a0facilitate\u00a0productive working relationships inside and outside the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Ability to travel\u00a0frequently\u00a0within\u00a0the\u00a0region\u00a0required.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
