This role offers an opportunity to grow with a dynamic organization focused on excellence in logistics and supply chain management.<br \/>\nPosition Overview<br \/>\nTitle: Senior Logistics, Operations, and Warehouse Manager (Open to all genders)<br \/>\nLocation: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania<br \/>\nOrganization: AXIAN<br \/>\nDivision: Open Innovation and Fintech<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (Master\u2019s preferred)<br \/>\n8\u201310 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain<br \/>\nAt least 3\u20135 years in a senior managerial role<br \/>\nCandidate Profile<br \/>\nStrong sense of organization, planning, and attention to detail<br \/>\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities<br \/>\nProficient in logistics management systems and office automation tools<br \/>\nSolid experience in warehouse operations management, including:<br \/>\nInventory control<br \/>\nSpace optimization<br \/>\nWorkflow efficiency<br \/>\nComprehensive knowledge of supply chain, transportation, and distribution management<br \/>\nProven leadership and team management skills with the ability to oversee multi-site operations<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency<br \/>\nStrong initiative and decision-making capabilities<br \/>\nExcellent oral and written communication skills<br \/>\nFluency in English (French is an added advantage)<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\nOversee and coordinate warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards<br \/>\nManage warehouse performance, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory accuracy<br \/>\nOptimize warehouse layout, stock management, and operational processes to improve turnaround time and cost-effectiveness<br \/>\nSupervise transportation and distribution activities to ensure timely deliveries and smooth flow of goods<br \/>\nCollaborate closely with procurement, finance, and operations teams for effective cross-functional coordination<br \/>\nAnalyze logistics data, track KPIs, and develop strategies for continuous improvement<br \/>\nIdentify operational risks and implement proactive measures to prevent disruptions<br \/>\nPrepare and present regular operational and budgetary reports to senior management<br \/>\nLead, mentor, and motivate the logistics and warehouse teams to achieve performance targets and uphold company standards<br \/>\nCall to Action<br \/>\nIf this description fits you, grow with us at AXIAN.
