This position will support CRS program offices in Tanzania, Mozambique and Lesotho (TaMoLe). Your work will advance the delivery of high-quality programming to the poor and vulnerable and enable scaling results. Your technical knowledge and program management experience and skills will contribute to determining how effective, adaptive, innovative and scalable CRS\u2019 programming is across the region.<br \/>\nRoles and Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to the advancement of the country strategy, in alignment with Vision 2030 and regional priorities, including the advancement of influence goals and donor engagement plans. Provide technical support to CP teams, remotely and on-site, for strategic planning and prioritization.<br \/>\nSupport design and delivery of quality assurance systems, including how to best apply program PQ and technical standards, best practices, partnership principles, and M&amp;E.\u00a0Help ensure a cross-sectoral approach integrating gender, SDP mainstreaming, and climate.<br \/>\nLead or support the development of the technical design of new projects, including formal and informal proposal products. Advise project teams on integrating donor strategies, priorities and technical requirements into CRS\u2019 approach.\u00a0Contribute to CP efforts to preposition and leverage results from their work.<br \/>\nCoordinate capacity strengthening initiatives for staff and partners through helping develop learning and training strategies and agendas\/curriculums, leading virtual learning events, conducting trainings and workshops, and mentoring and coaching to CP staff.<br \/>\nAdvance knowledge management and learning by coordinating research studies, assisting with reviewing and documenting program impact, supporting design and delivery of learning events and sharing best practices, and coordinating production of internal\/external learning products.<br \/>\nProvide program quality management surge support to fill short-term CP gaps and support projects during program start-up, close-out, or other delivering key milestones in the project cycle.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Excellent relationship management skills with ability to influence and get buy-in from people not under direct supervision and to work with individuals in diverse geographical and cultural settings.<br \/>\nStrong strategic, analytical, problem-solving and systems thinking skills with capacity to see the big picture and ability to make sound judgment<br \/>\nStrong written and oral communication skills<br \/>\nStrong presentation, facilitation, training, mentoring, and coaching skills<br \/>\nProactive, resourceful and results-oriented<br \/>\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nPreferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Master\u2019s Degree<br \/>\nKnowledge of CRS Partnership strategy and Partner management experience is an advantage.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nRequired Languages:\u00a0English<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nTravel:\u00a0Must be willing to travel up to\u00a035\u00a0%.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\u00a0Yes<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nBasic Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Master\u2019s Degree in International Relations or a related field required.<br \/>\nAt least 5 \u2013 8 years relevant international working experience in an advisory or management role\u00a0with progressive responsibilities, ideally with\u00a0an international NGO.<br \/>\nAt least 3 years of supervisory experience, including performance evaluation, coaching and mentoring.<br \/>\nPrevious experience providing technical assistance and developing successful proposals for external donor funding is required.<br \/>\nDemonstrated application of technical principles and concepts.
