Job Purpose
\nTo coordinate, supervise, and ensure safe, efficient, and timely loading and offloading of cargo at the railway station, in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n1.\u00a0Supervision of Loading & Offloading
\n\u27a2Oversee the loading and offloading of cargo from rail wagons to trucks or storage facilities.
\n\u27a2Ensure correct cargo handling procedures are followed to prevent damage or loss.
\n\u27a2Verify that loading\/offloading equipment is in safe working condition.
\n2.\u00a0Cargo Verification & Documentation
\n\u27a2Check and verify cargo against waybills, consignment notes, and other shipping documents.
\n\u27a2Ensure accurate completion and submission of Proof of Delivery (POD) and other required records.
\n\u27a2Maintain daily operational logs and loading\/offloading reports.
\n\u27a2Reconciliation with Depot Team and Plant Dispatch Team.
\n3.\u00a0Coordination & Communication
\n\u27a2Liaise with railway operators, truck drivers, warehouse teams, and Plant Operations Team to ensure smooth cargo\u00a0 flow.
\n\u27a2Coordinate with security personnel to ensure cargo safety during operations.
\n\u27a2Sending Operation Update to Report Officer as per required time interval.
\n4.\u00a0Compliance & Safety
\n\u27a2Enforce adherence to safety standards during loading\/offloading operations.
\n\u27a2Report and escalate any incidents, damages, or irregularities to management.
\n\u27a2Ensure compliance with company, railway, and regulatory requirements.
\n5.Operational Efficiency
\n\u27a2Monitor turnaround times for trains and trucks, ensuring minimal delays.
\n\u27a2Suggest improvements to loading\/offloading processes to increase efficiency.
\nQualifications & Experience
\n\u2022Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport, or related field.
\n\u2022Minimum 2\u20133 years of experience in cargo handling or logistics operations, preferably in a rail environment.
\n\u2022Knowledge of railway operations and safety standards.
\n\u2022Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
\nSkills & Competencies

\n\u2022Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
\n\u2022Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
\n\u2022Ability to work under pressure and in outdoor environments.
