\nJob purpose\u00a0Chief Internal Auditor will oversee the bank\u2019s internal audit function, which involves evaluating and providing assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls. The CIA will manage the internal audit team, develop and implement the annual audit plan, and report their findings to senior management and the Board\u2019s Audit Committee to help reduce business and financial risks while enabling the bank to grow and reach new its new heights.
\nApplication requirements<\/p>\n
Master\u2019s degree in finance or related field gained from a recognized higher learning institution.
\nAccounting certification (Either CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is required. Membership of an auditing or accounting professional body is required. Information Systems Auditing Certification(CISA) is preferred.
\nMinimum of 10 years\u2019relevant audit experience.
\nProven track record of audit or accounting in banking or in an audit firm.
\nSound judgement and courage necessary to perform a control role and maintain effective working relationships.
\nStrong analytical, problem solving and modelling skills. Excellent commercial orientation and business acumen.
\nDetailed knowledge and understanding of wider Bank issues and policies.
\nEnthusiastic with a high level of accountability and integrity.
\nStrong interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
