Responsibilities<\/p>\n
To Improve process efficiency and effectively run Airtel Money RA department<\/p>\n
Participate in direct coordination with head, Airtel Money RA&FM in developing strategy and departmental guideline for Tanzanian operation, including:<\/p>\n
developing resources (Structure, staffing operations, staffing Managers and Analysts),
\nselecting solutions for Airtel Money Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management
\ndeveloping policy, procedure and processes framework for Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management
\nproviding guidance on solving Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management operational problems
\nEstablish that a root cause analysis has been done for all KPIs beyond the admissible parameters<\/p>\n
To prevent revenue leakage and facilitate proper billing & invoicing<\/p>\n
Establish, implement and manage policies, procedures and an approach for performing the following:<\/p>\n
Periodic reconciliation of the revenue stream; includes customer acquisition and retention, customer order entry, customer usage, customer invoices and switch to bill reconciliation.<\/p>\n
Periodic reconciliation of reciprocal compensation revenue resulting from roaming agreements with other carriers for roaming traffic as well as Interconnect.<\/p>\n
To guide against revenue loss<\/p>\n
Identify issues and areas of potential revenue leakage and exposure, determine root causes, design and recommend changes to operational business processes and systems to minimize the risk and potential exposure to revenue leakage.<\/p>\n
To ensure effectiveness of change management and efficient Airtel Money Product Assurance<\/p>\n
Establish and implement policies, procedures and approach to effectively \u00a0 partner \u00a0 with \u00a0 diverse \u00a0 system departments \u00a0 and change management function to perform quality assurance testing on key processes and system changes which impact the recording, processing and billing of revenue producing events<\/p>\n
To improve work process and procedure<\/p>\n
Monitor, \u00a0review \u00a0and take corrective \u00a0actions \u00a0or \u00a0observations made by consultants, auditors, or external\/internal reviews on control weaknesses in the Airtel Money RA process<\/p>\n
Optimization of Airtel Money RA tools<\/p>\n
Establish \u00a0team \u00a0knowledge \u00a0about \u00a0Airtel \u00a0Money \u00a0RA \u00a0in \u00a0the respective areas i.e. Carrier, Processes, Technical & IT and Fraud
\nEstablish a proper utilization of the Airtel Money RA tool<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
Provide reports to senior management concerning progress made, outlining the quantified benefit to the organization and the exposures (challenges) ahead using the Airtel Money Revenue Assurance & Fraud Monthly Package.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/p>\n
Educational Qualifications & Functional \/ Technical Skills\u00a0<\/p>\n
Degree in IT, Computer Science or any other related field
\nPostgraduate in Data systems & Analysis
\nProfessional qualification in System Auditing (CISA) is an added advantage<\/p>\n
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and\u00a0minimum number of years)<\/p>\n
12 years working experience in related field from Telecoms, Fintech or Banking Industries
\nStrong analytical, technical and reporting skills
\nProficient in querying a large amount of data using SQL queries
\nIn-depth knowledge of GSM Networks, IN and IT Billing & Provisioning Systems
\nGood understanding of data models and various IT platforms\/solutions<\/p>\n
Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Should be able to work and deliver under pressure and squeezed timelines.
\nTake ownership for the work assigned and have good follow through skills.
\nAbility to consistently deliver accurate results on-time and hold others accountable.
\nDemonstrate ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.
\nAbility to successfully engage in multiple initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
\nExceptional eye for details.
\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually.
\nQuick learner to develop strong product knowledge and entire product lifecycle.
\nBuild strong relationships in a matrix environment to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among projects stakeholders.
\nShould be able to do risk analysis and document the business requirements and formulate the business processes.
\nProject management and planning skills.
\nHigh integrity is mandatory.
\nShould be able to re-define priorities and take deviations in order to support business exigencies.<\/p>\n
