\nThe role reports directly to the Managing Director and will be the unifying force behind Advertising & Events, Production, and Distribution divisions. The role is also accountable for operational excellence, commercial growth, and process efficiency across the entire value chain.
\nKey responsibilities
\nStrategic leadership<\/p>\n
Translate corporate strategy into actionable commercial and operational plans.<\/p>\n
Revenue growth<\/p>\n
Drive advertising, events, and circulation revenue through innovative sales and distribution strategies.<\/p>\n
Operational excellence<\/p>\n
Standardize workflows.<\/p>\n
Implement continuous improvement systems.<\/p>\n
Manage KPIs for turnaround time, quality, and customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n
Digital transformation<\/p>\n
Lead the implementation of digital dashboards.<\/p>\n
Drive automation in production scheduling.<\/p>\n
Strengthen data-driven decision-making.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder management<\/p>\n
Collaborate with Finance, Editorial, and HR to ensure commercial alignment.<\/p>\n
Manage key external partnerships with clients, agencies, and logistics providers.<\/p>\n
People leadership<\/p>\n
Mentor and lead a team of managers.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and experience<\/p>\n
A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Media Management, Operations, or a related field. An MBA or Master\u2019s degree is preferred.<\/p>\n
A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in publishing, commercial management, or media operations.<\/p>\n
Proven expertise in advertising sales, production, distribution, and logistics management.<\/p>\n
Demonstrable experience in leading digital transformation and commercial systems automation.<\/p>\n
Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant operational budgets.<\/p>\n
Experience leading multi-departmental teams across sales, operations, or logistics functions.<\/p>\n
