Management Accountant Position at GSM Beverages
\nPosition Overview<\/p>\n
Position: Management Accountant
\nBusiness Unit: GSM Beverages
\nReports To: Finance Manager
\nDuty Station: Dar es Salaam<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Prepare accurate monthly management reports and cost analyses.
\nMaintain costing systems for labour, materials, and production processes.
\nPerform stock reconciliations and coordinate stocktakes.
\nEnsure compliance with IFRS and support financial planning & forecasting.
\nHandle daily and month-end costing entries (P&L and balance sheet).
\nProvide costing insights for monthly management reports and BRM presentations.
\nMonitor inventory planning, forecasting, and valuation accuracy.
\nReview GL accounts weekly and ensure accurate posting.
\nEnsure full SAP utilization for costing and reporting.
\nManage fixed assets register, coding, additions\/disposals, and depreciation.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting or a related field.
\nMinimum 4 years of industry experience in accounting or costing roles.
\nStrong understanding and practical experience with IFRS and GAAP.
\nProficiency in accounting systems, ERP tools (e.g., SAP), spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
\nProfessional certification such as CPA or ACCA is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
