\n1. Purpose of Job
\nThe CFO is responsible for leading the bank\u2019s financial strategy, ensuring strong financial governance, protecting shareholder value, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable profitability. The position oversees all financial operations including budgeting, capital planning, financial reporting, balance sheet optimization and serving as a key advisor to the CEO and Board.
\n2. Core Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Monthly Finance & Accounting
\nBusiness Strategy & Planning
\nRegulatory Reporting & Compliance
\nCost Management
\nBalance Sheet Management
\nHandling complaints from other departments
\nGL monitoring \u2013 interest accruals and provisioning; Finance GL reconciliation
\nEnd of month activities \u2013 schedules preparation and posting; reconciliation
\nMaintenance of Fixed asset register \u2013 recording; reconciliation and movement controls
\nQuarterly accounts publications \u2013 accuracy and timely; end-to-end \u2013 CIA & Board approval
\nPreparation financial statements and reports
\nMonitor and review finance officers\u2019 daily activities
\nReview and authorize financial transactions processed
\nPrepare reports required by the regulatory authority and other stakeholders \u2013 management
\nReview reports to regulatory authorities such as weekly return, bi-weekly returns; NPS, NOP and monthly
\nEnsure compliance of statutory regulations of BCC
\nProcess short time financial planning and projections
\nPreparing the budget
\nAny other duties as assigned<\/p>\n
3. Skills<\/p>\n
Graduate in Accounts \/ Finance
\nRelevant experience in finance
\nGood analytical skills
\nGood communication skills<\/p>\n
