\nPURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
\nTo execute and maintain an effective ore mining and movement process to ensure that only the right
\nore materials are delivered to the mill.
\n\u00a0
\nQUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n
Awarded Secondary School Education Certificate.
\nValid Tanzanian Driving License Class D<\/p>\n

\nEXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3 to 5 yrs working in a mining related environment.<\/p>\n

\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
Understanding of Open Pit Ore control systems and processes
\nUnderstanding of geology\/mining production workflow process
\nBasic understanding of ore dilution control
\nDemonstrated capacity to make sound and timely decisions, by quickly assembling the facts to develop action priorities.
\nHigh energy, commitment, and enthusiasm for the work with high personal goals for self and team.<\/p>\n

\nMAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/p>\n
Flagging of ore perimeters using tapes and rock marking paints as per ore plan ore boundary<\/p>\n
map in a timely manner without affecting production.<\/p>\n
Control of ore mining in assigned active pit in accordance with dilution and ore loss procedure<\/p>\n
and that ore been directed to the correct stockpiles at satellite ROM pad as well as at the main
\nROM.<\/p>\n
Correctly counting and recording all the ore mining truck from each ore perimeter by the use<\/p>\n
of Tallies and Toughbook.<\/p>\n
Capture and record all ore movements from the pit and ROM PADs so that accurate data can<\/p>\n
be provided for reconciliation.<\/p>\n
Provide Direct Output Support (DOS) to Supervisor \u2013 Mine Geology regarding Ore mining and<\/p>\n
dilution control.<\/p>\n
Assist the reconciliation process by providing quality data for Ore mined and crushed and<\/p>\n
follow the changes made to stockpile.<\/p>\n
Maintaining a proper communication with modular dispatch, HME operators (digger, trucks,<\/p>\n
dozer, grader) to correctly handle ore mining and avoid ore loss\/dilution.<\/p>\n
Be observant on oil leaks from any machines in the pit, if leaks develop whilst in the pits, advise<\/p>\n
the equipment off the ore zones as soon as practical. In case of Machine service, allocate the
\nmachine on service at the area without ore.<\/p>\n
Identify all potential causes for ore loss and dilution during ore mining, report any adjustment<\/p>\n
or rectification required to ore perimeter any changes should be indicated on the plan for
\nreferences and put a comment in your working tallies.<\/p>\n
Identify strengths and weaknesses and recommend focus points to improve the process of ore<\/p>\n
mining as well as the ore control procedures in place.<\/p>\n
Check for all necessary markup required before ore mining i.e. toe line well marked, batter<\/p>\n
pegs, and TBM in place for floor level control. Any miss must be reported to Survey team,
\nbench foreman and your supervisor.<\/p>\n
