{"id":2817,"date":"2025-11-28T10:05:05","date_gmt":"2025-11-28T10:05:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/process-analyst-at-nmb-bank\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T15:03:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T15:03:30","slug":"process-analyst-at-nmb-bank","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=2817","title":{"rendered":"Process Analyst at NMB Bank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Process Analyst \u2013 (Fixed Term \u2013 2years) (1 Position(s))<br \/>\nJob Location :<br \/>\nHead Office, Hq<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nResponsible for identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and drive business results.<br \/>\nMain Responsibilities:<br \/>\nWork cross-functionally with various departments, such as operations, IT, risk management, and customer service, to optimize business processes and implement strategic initiatives.<br \/>\nConduct a thorough review of existing banking processes, including transactions, customer interactions, and compliance procedures.<br \/>\nConduct end-to-end analysis of existing business processes.<br \/>\nDevelop detailed process maps and related documentation.<br \/>\nAnalyze process gaps and inefficiencies.<br \/>\nRecommend actionable solutions for process improvement.<br \/>\nCollect and analyze data related to workflow processes, resource allocation, and operational efficiencies.<br \/>\nGenerate regular and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators.<br \/>\nGather and analyze data to support business cases and action plans.<br \/>\nProvide data-driven recommendations to senior management.<br \/>\nEnsure that process improvements comply with regulatory standards, including but not limited to FCPR, AML, and other banking regulations.<br \/>\nEngage with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, expectations, and objectives.<br \/>\nWork closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and understand business needs.<br \/>\nFacilitate meetings to discuss findings and recommendations.<br \/>\nDevelop solutions to streamline processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and meet business objectives.<br \/>\nSupport the implementation phase and monitor the effectiveness of new processes.<br \/>\nAssist in developing change management plans to ensure a smooth transition of new processes.<br \/>\nMonitor the impact of changes on the organization and make necessary adjustments.<br \/>\nMonitor new processes to ensure they achieve desired outcomes and maintain compliance with internal and external standards.<br \/>\nGenerate and present regular reports to management, highlighting the ROI of implemented changes, overall process performance, and areas for future improvement.<br \/>\nKnowledge and Skills:<br \/>\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking and organizational skills.<br \/>\nSelf-motivated, innovative, and ability to initiate and lead changes.<br \/>\nProficient in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucid chart, etc.<br \/>\nAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis software.<br \/>\nExcellent presentation skills.<br \/>\nStakeholders\u2019 management skills<br \/>\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.<br \/>\nStrong interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal and external customers.<br \/>\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience:<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in business administration, management, Banking, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.<br \/>\nLean Six Sigma and Project management certification is a plus.<br \/>\nA minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business process analysis, business process design, and business process improvement, preferably in the banking or financial sector.<br \/>\nExperience working with business re-engineering processes, tools, methods, and techniques in Financial or Banking industry.<br \/>\nExperience working with business processing models, Process Design, Requirements Management, and Project Management<br \/>\nNMB Bank Plc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
