Job Purpose
\nFunctional consultant is responsible for implementation of the IFMIS projects by gathering requirements, configuring systems, delivering end-user training, producing essential documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing pre- and post\u2013go-live support to ensure successful deployment and client satisfaction.
\nKey Responsibilities.<\/p>\n
Lead the implementation of the Revenue Payment Gateway module and other IFMIS-related solutions
\nEnsure solution alignment with client needs by validating that all system modules meet defined business requirements
\nGather and document requirements, define project scope and objectives, and design functional solutions in line with organizational strategy
\nCollaborate across internal teams and client departments to ensure successful delivery of business outcomes
\nDeliver end-user and core team training sessions on ERP systems, both local and international clients
\nConduct remote and in-person training, including web-based and classroom sessions at overseas client sites
\nConfigure system, support client to conduct User acceptance test in accordance with client specific functional and process requirements
\nPrepare comprehensive project documentation reflecting client specifications and implementation details
\nCreating and maintaining essential documentation like\u00a0operational manuals, training materials, and configuration records
\nProvide ongoing support, including pre- and post\u2013go-live assistance, to ensure stable system performance and user adoption.<\/p>\n
Qualifications.<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
\nAlternatively, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance may be accepted with relevant experience
\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 professional experience in finance, accounting, IT systems, or related domains
\nDemonstrated understanding of accounting principles, financial procedures, and industry best practices
\nPossession of a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is considered an added advantage.<\/p>\n

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client and team interactions
\nAbility to follow instructions and adhere to established guidelines, ensuring consistency and compliance
\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
\nProficient at multitasking and managing workload under pressure, maintaining focus and productivity
\nMust be able to do on-site implementations for our projects within Tanzania and outside Tanzania.
\nMust be able to learn and be certified in ERP products that we implement so that they can do better project implementation.<\/p>\n
