Investor Services (TBIS) franchise, focusing on cash management, collections, payments, liquidity solutions, and custody\/investor services.<br \/>\nThe role excludes trade finance responsibilities.<br \/>\nIt ensures growth in fee-based income, deepens client relationships, and strengthens NBC\u2019s position as a trusted banking partner for corporate, institutional, and public sector clients through effective transactions and investor solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Job Description\u200b<br \/>\nAccountability:\u00a0 Sales and Services 30%<\/p>\n<p>Lead growth across cash management, liquidity, and custody solutions.<br \/>\nStrengthen collaboration with Relationship Managers and Sector Heads to ensure product penetration across priority sectors.<br \/>\nOversee corporate collections, payments, liquidity pooling, and account management.<br \/>\nProvide tailored liquidity advisory to large corporates, government, and institutions.<br \/>\nManage relationships with major payment counterparties and regulators to ensure smooth clearing and settlement.<br \/>\nMaintenance of the client relationships for \u201cpriority\u201d clients<br \/>\nTo provide guidance and support to the cash management and investor services teams on the identification and closure of client transactions across the portfolio<br \/>\nMonitoring of sales targets and deal pipelines to ensure targets are achieved<br \/>\nTo drive initiatives that require cash management support such as liability drives<br \/>\nProvide solutions and structures for client\u2019s transactional and custody requirements<br \/>\nDrive Sales of new cash management and investors services products<\/p>\n<p>Accountability:\u00a0 \u2013 Business Management 30%<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement NBC\u2019s Transaction Banking &amp; Investor Services strategy in line with CIB priorities.<br \/>\nEnhance efficiency and yield of client operating balances.<br \/>\nCoordinate with Treasury for liquidity optimization and balance sheet management.<br \/>\nDevelop competitive payment and collection propositions for different client segments<br \/>\nPromote efficient transactional flow management through streamlined banking processes<br \/>\nResponsible for driving the cash management and investor services team towards achievement of revenue\/ balance sheet targets.<br \/>\nMonitor and drive income across all cash management and investor services revenue lines<br \/>\nMonitor costs associated with the cash management team including budgets and products developments costs.<br \/>\nWorking with the Head of Wholesale Operations and Head of Client Service, support the growth of NBC to be the \u2018Go \u2013 To\u2019 transaction bank in the country<br \/>\nManage product tariffs for cash management and investors services tariffs through consulting coverage teams on pricing, solutions, issues to do with product\/service performance, business practices\/ideas and best practices.<br \/>\nMonitor level of complaints and quality of complaint handling<\/p>\n<p>Accountability:\u00a0 \u2013 People Management 15%<\/p>\n<p>Build a strong performance culture anchored on accountability, collaboration, and ethics.<br \/>\nIdentify, develop, and retain high-potential talent within TBIS.<br \/>\nEnsure clear succession plans for all key positions.<br \/>\nPromote inclusion, gender diversity, and staff wellbeing.<br \/>\nSet measurable performance objectives and conduct quarterly reviews.<br \/>\nFacilitate continuous learning and technical certification across teams.<br \/>\nUphold NBC\u2019s leadership standards and values in all team interactions<br \/>\nCollaborate with CIB Sector Heads and Relationship Managers to cross-sell TBIS solutions.<br \/>\nPartner with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Operations for aligned execution.<br \/>\nMaintain active relationships with regulators and industry bodies.<br \/>\nRepresent NBC at client and market forums to promote TBIS capabilities<br \/>\nTo facilitate support, guidance, advice and training to product managers, in addition to play a strong catalyst role to RMs to support product take-up and usage.<br \/>\nResponsible for ensuring the cash management and investor services team works closely with the relationship management team to ensure relationship plans are met and all cross-selling and sales targets are met<\/p>\n<p>Accountability:\u00a0 Product Development \u2013 20%<\/p>\n<p>Manage product pricing, profitability, and client proposition development.<br \/>\nManage custody, trustee, and fund administration businesses for local and international institutional clients.<br \/>\nEnsure operational excellence in safekeeping, settlement, and corporate action processing.<br \/>\nPartner with regulators (CMSA, DSE, BoT) to enhance the capital markets operating environment.<br \/>\nLead client acquisition and relationship management for asset managers, pension funds, and custodial clients<br \/>\nTo facilitate constant product innovation to enable NBC Limited to become a leading cash management and investor services bank<br \/>\nProactively research and Stay abreast of market trends to ensure NBC Limited pro-actively develops and launches products\/services that keep us ahead of the market<br \/>\nEnsure smooth roll-out and implementation of new products\/services including ensuring all business and risk sign offs are obtained.<br \/>\nCommunication to relationship teams on (new) product knowledge and product changes including training sessions and updates on competitive environment<br \/>\nMonitor and review products and processes regularly to ensure they are optimal and meet client needs.<\/p>\n<p>Accountability:\u00a0 Risk and Control \u2013 5%<\/p>\n<p>Maintain robust operational risk, compliance, and governance frameworks across TBIS activities.<br \/>\nOversee KYC, AML, and transaction monitoring standards in collaboration with Risk and Compliance.<br \/>\nIntegrate ESG principles into cash management and investor service offerings.<br \/>\nDrive inclusion initiatives and sustainable finance solutions within transaction flows<br \/>\nAdhere to NBC Limited\u2019s policies and procedures applicable to own role, demonstrating sound judgement and responsible risk management.<br \/>\nReport all risk events\/incidents\/issues using the defined process for your business area and help to understand why these happened and how to prevent them in future.
