Database administrator will ensure that organization\u2019s databases are managed efficiently and securely.<br \/>\nESSENTIAL DUTIES<br \/>\n\u00b7 Designing and implementing database systems i.e Oracle, MS SQL and others environments as needed.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Perform database tuning, monitoring, optimizing database performance and upgrade of databases and its patches as per policy and procedures in place.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Perform software installs and Linux shell scripting, and physical and logical database design.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure database full backup is conducted and data are stored in secured storage and location.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ensure Core application databases replication working as per business continuity standard.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Managing database security and access controls.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Analyze and plan for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements, develop and administer data standards, policies, and procedures<br \/>\n\u00b7 Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the database<br \/>\n\u00b7 Provide direction for database design, development, and administration in support of production operations<br \/>\nDevelop, implement and lead projects and project plans relating to database Supporting data migration and integration projects.<br \/>\nProvide Oracle database programming and administration (DBA) of multiple Oracle applications environments<br \/>\nEnsure Core Banking System and all applications databases are running and performing at optimal level<br \/>\nAdheres to and supports IS systems, enforce standards, policies, and procedures to end users<br \/>\nDaily system monitoring to ensure 24X7 availability of databases and applications<br \/>\nParameterize Core Banking System database and other applications database according to analyzed requirements.<br \/>\nWorks closely with members of the application and infrastructure teams on timely resolution of reported incidents\/issues.<br \/>\nEnsure all reported and logged issues are well analyzed, defined and resolved with recorded resolutions.<br \/>\nMonitor databases uptime and performance and provide periodic reviews for such databases.<br \/>\nWork closely with Project Manager on Change requests analysis and change process management.<br \/>\nAnalyze and document problems and resolutions in defined standards and Knowledge Base systems.<br \/>\nEmployment opportunities listing<br \/>\nEducation and Experience<br \/>\n\u00b7 Bachelor degree in computer science or related field.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Certification for Database Administration will be added advantage.<br \/>\n\u00b7 2 years\u2019 experience in similar position<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES<br \/>\n\u2022 Understands applications hosting platforms, such as WebLogic, Apache, IIS, Tomcat etc<br \/>\n\u2022 Fundamental knowledge in programming languages, such as Php, C# and Java<br \/>\n\u2022 Understands basic principles of any Core Banking System<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge with Database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL etc)<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge with Linux and Window opening systems Administration<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledge with reports development platforms.<br \/>\n\u2022 Knowledgeable in ITIL, DBA, Oracle, MS SQL<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
