All this in addition to a brilliant opportunity to build a career in your field of expertise, across our different operating companies in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Airtel Africa is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain fully committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Channel Management<\/p>\n<p>Manage direct sales channels for the sale<br \/>\nEnsure recharge availability for the 5G &amp; Fixed Wireless Access devices (FWA) within assigned demarcation(s)<br \/>\nIdentify and formulate sales strategies to help drive gross addition device sales for the region<\/p>\n<p>Sales and Distribution<\/p>\n<p>Drive HBB distribution<br \/>\nDrive sales to ensure sales targets are met<br \/>\nEnsure installation SLAs are met within assigned geographical demarcation<br \/>\nCollaborate with sales supervisors and cross functional leaders and peers to develop sales targets and strategies in to drive sales in assigned market or area<br \/>\nEnsure regional outlets are productive<\/p>\n<p>Customer Complaint Resolution<\/p>\n<p>Resolve customer complaints in collaboration with relevant stakeholders where applicable<br \/>\nAddress staffing or manpower problems and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations<\/p>\n<p>Customer Prospects<\/p>\n<p>Conduct Customer prospects directly or indirectly through team members, potential customers and other sales leads<br \/>\nConsult with potential customers to understand their needs, Identify and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs and share with relevant business leaders<\/p>\n<p>Trade Execution and Compliance<\/p>\n<p>Ensure adherence to compliance requirements of sales processes, policies and recovery of devices from noncompliant customers<br \/>\nSupervise health of device acquisitions and compliance on activations<br \/>\nImplement and execute sales plans as per plan first time right<br \/>\nImplement agreed sales plans through timely monitoring and corrective action to drive desired business results<\/p>\n<p>Team Engagement and development\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Provide or facilitate ongoing training, motivation, and development of sales supervisors, Direct Sales Executives team to ensure that sales and profits are effectively managed and maintained<br \/>\nContinuously motivate the frontline employees through leadership by example<br \/>\nImplement all action plans that will address hygiene issues etc. from employee feedback meetings or surveys<br \/>\nPerform any other duties as assigned from time to time<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Educational Qualifications &amp; Functional \/ Technical Skills<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor of Business Administration or any equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n<p>Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)<\/p>\n<p>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in sales<br \/>\n2 years of in-depth Sales and Marketing experience in the telecom\/Devices selling\/Corporate Sales\/ Satellite TV industries or other related fields<br \/>\nwith at least 2 years at middle management level handling independent businesses<\/p>\n<p>Competencies\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Category Understanding \u2013 Understanding the competition landscape within the OPCO \u2013 players, the market size, regulations, technologies used devices offered, spectrum used etc<br \/>\nTechnology Understanding: Needs to understand solutions across HBB Products &amp; Services. Should be able to guide and drive cross-functional teams<br \/>\nResilience and ability to deliver against stretch targets<br \/>\nStrong entrepreneurial spirit<br \/>\nAble to motivate and encourage the team to ensure sales targets are met<br \/>\nAble to plan and execute team route plans and evaluate performance daily<\/p>\n<p>Other requirements (Behavioral etc.)<\/p>\n<p>Able to operate in a performance driven organization<br \/>\nGood organizational and teamwork skills<br \/>\nSelf-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic<br \/>\nAttention to detail<br \/>\nConfident, assertive with good negotiation skills<br \/>\nExcellent time Management Skills<br \/>\nCustomer-centric<br \/>\nFlexible and ability to travel on urgency basis<br \/>\nConsumer knowledge<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
