The Marketing Officer will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the visibility, desirability, and performance of Selous Kinga Lodge. The role involves managing marketing campaigns, partnerships, brand communications, and creative projects, both locally and internationally.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Develop and implement innovative marketing and sales strategies to increase bookings, revenue, and brand awareness.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, and corporate clients to drive business growth.
\nIdentify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand the lodge\u2019s client base, both locally and internationally
\nCoordinate and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and marketing activities aligned with the lodge\u2019s positioning.
\nPlan and manage the lodge\u2019s digital presence, including social media content, website updates, Google Business, and TripAdvisor reviews.
\nOversee the creation of content calendars and coordinate with photographers and videographers to produce engaging marketing materials.
\nRepresent Selous Kinga Lodge at trade shows, tourism expos, roadshows, and networking events to promote the property.
\nWork closely with the reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and alignment between marketing promises and service delivery.
\nMonitor tourism industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to inform strategic decisions and adjust campaigns as needed.
\nProduce monthly marketing and sales reports with KPI analysis to measure campaign impact and guide decision-making.
\nEnsure all branding, signage, menus, collateral, and promotional materials comply with the lodge\u2019s brand guidelines.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field, with proven experience in the hospitality industry\u00a0(required).
\nMinimum of 2 years of proven experience in marketing roles within the safari or broader tourism industry.
\nStrong skills in digital marketing, especially social media and content strategy.
\nExperience working in or knowledge of Tanzania\u2019s tourism industry is an added advantage.
\nExcellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.<\/p>\n
