Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Channel management\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ensure clean customer master through regular reviews
\nEnsure distributor payments are receipted correctly and on time
\nEnsure all stock issued is paid for or is secured
\nCarry out credit assessment for distributors
\nEnsure no credit exposure to the company
\nPreparation of termination payments to distributors
\nReview of Channel Partners Debtors Aging reports
\nFilling and submission of monthly reports to Group finance-AG,DTRs
\nAssist distributors in managing their accounts
\nAssist distributors with their profitability analysis
\nEnsure distributors confirm their balances on a quarterly basis<\/p>\n
Reporting\u00a0<\/p>\n
Timely AR period close and Generation of Aging Reports
\nEnsure timely response to adhoc requests
\nTimeliness, Completeness and Accuracy of Channel inputs as per ACE India \/Tanzania SLAs and the Financial reporting calendar \u2013 IUC, cross charge invoicing
\nTimely preparation and submission of monthly & quarterly reporting templates (Both internal & External)
\nEnsure all internal Sim wallets, collection, easy recharge, payout and petty cash are reconciled and matching
\nEnsure accurate booking of revenues \u2013 all cross charge is properly booked and reconciled
\nReview of reconciliations (Annexure 2, Petty cash etc.)
\nEnsure all accounts are reconciled as per group guidelines
\nPrepare customer account reconciliations
\nEnsure Timely preparation and closure of reconciling items
\nEnsure timely billing, netting off and collections
\nManagement of Bad Debts<\/p>\n
Cash Management<\/p>\n
Ensure all collections are banked
\nPeriodic review and daily monitoring of E-Value at the shops
\nMonitor and ensure accountabilities for all petty cash
\nTrain shop staff on cash processes
\nRisk Management & Debt Management
\nVendor Payment on time, netting off and collections
\nThorough review of BRS and ensure booking on time<\/p>\n
Inventory management<\/p>\n
Ensure shops are properly set-up before trading
\nEnsure training of cashiers on cash reporting and Inventory management
\nMonitor shop stock ordering
\nEnsure all stock at shops and warehouses is accounted for as per accounting guidelines
\nFollow up in any stock variances through physical verification
\nReconcile and manage shop stock holding
\nEnsure stock accounting for the goods sold (Handset, dongles etc.) in line with accounting guidelines issued by Central FR.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
Educational Qualifications & Functional \/ Technical Skills<\/p>\n
University Degree
\nACCA\/CPA\/CFA or in the process of getting the professional Qualification<\/p>\n
Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years in FMCG or Telecoms; In-depth knowledge of the telecoms industry advantageous
\nExperience in carrying out quantitative and qualitative analytical reviews on financial statement items
\nProficiency in MS Office suite. Excellent skills in Excel
\nProven ability to analyze complex business issues and identify, design and implement effective practical recommendations<\/p>\n
