NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
\nISO 45001 Lead Auditor (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems)
\nISO 14001 Lead Auditor (Environmental Management Systems)
\nISO 9001 Lead Auditor (Quality Management Systems)<\/p>\n
Preferred Certifications<\/p>\n
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
\nCertified Environmental Professional (CEP)
\nPort Facility Security Officer (PFSO) certification under ISPS Code<\/p>\n
Industry Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in HSSE roles, with at least:
\n5 years in international terminal operations, ports, logistics, or maritime sectors
\nProven track record of conducting HSSE audits, compliance assessments, and due diligence reviews<\/p>\n
Regulatory And Standards Knowledge
\nIn-depth understanding of:<\/p>\n
International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards
\nInternational Labour Organization (ILO) safety conventions
\nEnvironmental and safety standards such as OSHA, IMO MARPOL, SOLAS, and ISPS Code
\nApplicable local HSSE regulations
\nWorld Bank Group (EHS) Guidelines and standards<\/p>\n
Technical Competencies<\/p>\n
Ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard analysis, and root cause investigations
\nFamiliarity with HSSE software tools and incident reporting platforms
\nKnowledge of emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
\nExperience in developing and implementing HSSE management systems.<\/p>\n
