\nBulyanhulu Gold Mine\u00a0is seeking to recruit\u00a0an\u00a0HME Maintenance Manager.\u00a0Reporting to the Mining Manager, the UG Mobile Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all UG mobile equipment maintenance activities. The Manager will ensure the safety, reliability, and operational efficiency of all underground mobile assets, in compliance with industry standards and company policies.\u00a0
\nThis role also involves staff development, training, and competency assessment to enhance maintenance efficiency for underground mobile equipment continuously and requires ensuring maintenance is conducted in a manner that maximizes value for the business, both now and in the future.

\nDuration:\u00a0Fixed Term Contract
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
Lead and manage the underground mobile maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance activities.
\nDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for underground mobile equipment.
\nOversee maintenance scheduling, spare parts inventory, and procurement to minimize downtime.
\nEnsure compliance with established procedures and regulations and promote a safety-first culture among the maintenance team.
\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to underground mobile machinery.
\nMonitor equipment performance and establish KPIs to improve reliability and efficiency.
\nCoordinate with operations to plan major maintenance repairs with minimal impact on production.
\nMaintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports for management review.
\nManage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources related to underground mobile maintenance activities.
\nStay updated with technological advancements and incorporate best practices in maintenance procedures.
\nPerform regular workplace inspections to identify and address issues.
\nManagement of maintenance personnel, including but not limited to overseeing their performance, training, and development.
\nEnsures the efficient use of the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
\nEvent investigation and follow-up of recommendations.
\nProvide maintenance oversight and input for new projects and construction activities.
\nQuality assurance and control for all platform activities relating to maintenance.
\nProvide feedback to OEM to enable improvements to the equipment or its operation.
\nOther duties as assigned by the UG Manager.<\/p>\n
Qualification Requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mining Engineering, or related field.
\nRelevant certifications in Heavy Equipment, Mining, or Safety.<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills Requirements:<\/p>\n
Minimum of 5-7 years\u2019 experience in underground mobile equipment maintenance within the mining industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
\nStrong knowledge of underground mining operations, safety standards, and maintenance systems (e.g., SAP).
\nProven experience with specific OEM equipment (e.g., Sandvik preferred).
\nCommitment to safety, including a commitment to a positive safety culture.
\nExceptional leadership, organizational, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
\nStrong safety, environmental awareness, supervisory capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
\nMust be team-oriented and possess the ability to develop and foster a team environment.
\nInnovative mindset with a focus on reliability improvement and cost efficiency.
\nProblem Solving, Decision-Making Skills, and Troubleshooting Skills.
\nUnderstanding of budgeting and performance management.<\/p>\n
