Chief Financial Officer
\nThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic and operational leadership in financial planning, management, treasury, operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This role is crucial for ensuring the bank\u2019s financial stability and sustainability while adhering to the Bank of Tanzania regulations.
\nReports to:\u00a0CEO
\nKey areas of responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
Strategic Leadership:\u00a0Develop and implement the bank\u2019s financial strategy aligned with cooperative principles and sustainable business objectives.
\nFinancial Management:\u00a0Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and optimize profitability.
\nRegulatory Compliance:\u00a0Ensure compliance with BoT guidelines, tax laws, and IFRS standards, and liaise with regulatory bodies.
\nTreasury Management:\u00a0Manage treasury operations, cash flow, and liquidity levels while maintaining relationships with financial institutions.
\nRisk Management:\u00a0Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance Department to identify and mitigate financial risks and establish internal controls.
\nTeam Development:\u00a0Lead and mentor finance and treasury teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

\nRequired minimum qualifications:<\/p>\n
A holder of Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
\nMaster\u2019s degree Finance, MBA, and professional verification (CPA (T), ACCA, CFA, or CIMA
\nWorking experience of not less than 10 years of professional experience in the banking\/financial services, 5 of which must be in Senior Executive level
\nProven experience in strategy development, product development\/innovation and digital transformation
\nDeep understanding of the Tanzanian banking landscape especially in cooperative or microfinance.<\/p>\n
