\nSenior Safari Sales Consultant
\nJob Overview
\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Safari Sales Consultant to join our dynamic safari sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling high-value safari inquiries, designing tailor-made itineraries, converting inquiries into confirmed bookings, and delivering exceptional service to the clients. This role requires strong sales skills, excellent destination knowledge, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to booking confirmation.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Handle all safari inquiries from initial contact through to booking confirmation, ensuring a professional and personalized client experience.
\nDesign and cost tailor-made safari itineraries based on client requirements, travel preferences, budgets, and expectations.
\nPrepare accurate, competitive, and profitable quotations using company-approved rates and pricing structures.
\nConvert client and agent inquiries into confirmed bookings by effectively selling safari products, accommodation, activities, and additional services.
\nManage and respond to all agent inquiries while building and maintaining strong relationships with international and local partners.
\nFollow up on pending quotations and provisional bookings to maximize conversion rates and achieve sales targets.
\nClearly communicate booking terms, payment schedules, and cancellation policies to clients and agents.
\nHandle booking amendments, upgrades, and special requests efficiently while maintaining service quality and cost control.
\nAssist in mentoring junior sales consultants and support team development.<\/p>\n
Requirements & Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum 6-10 years\u2019 experience in safari sales, tour consulting, or a similar role within the tourism industry.
\nDegree or Diploma in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
\nStrong knowledge of safari destinations in the Northern, Southern, and Western Circuit, Zanzibar, lodges, camps, and tour products.
\nProven ability to convert inquiries into confirmed sales.
\nStrong attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
