Amref Health Africa Tanzania has the following vacance and invites suitable applicants for the position to be filled<br \/>\nJob Description<br \/>\nJOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nDiscover more<br \/>\nTender Information Service<br \/>\nCareer coaching sessions<br \/>\nTPF Recruitment Portal<br \/>\nTo undertake day to day procurement and supplies activities to support projects and other office operations in line with Amref Procurement Policy Procedure Manual under the guidance of the Head of Procurement Unit. International Job Listings<br \/>\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\n1.Ensure timely and efficiently processing of Amref requirements for goods, works and services.<br \/>\nPreparation of various bidding documents for Goods, Works and Consultancy services<br \/>\nRequesting quotations (RFQ) from vendors including providing clarifications<br \/>\nsupervision of sample verification in collaboration with user\u2019s departments<br \/>\ncoordinates procurement plans from projects and other departments<br \/>\nCarrying out quotation analysis of the submitted bids.<br \/>\nProcess all procurement transactions through e-tender portal including approvals in the ERP system<br \/>\nProcessing and issuing LPO\u2019s to vendors<br \/>\nclose follow up of all orders for timely delivery of goods, works and services including performance monitoring<br \/>\nCoach and supervise field staff (Admin officers) on issues relating to procurement compliance<br \/>\nChecking suppliers\u2019 invoices against LPO for processing payments,<br \/>\nFollow up payments with Finance as per agreed terms and conditions,<br \/>\nCoordinate Tender Committee meetings including drafting minutes for various deliberations<br \/>\n2.Give Support in processing Contract for various services<br \/>\nAssist in drafting of contracts for various goods, works and services.<br \/>\nParticipating in the negotiation with suppliers and other service providers<br \/>\nDrafting award letters and other correspondences with vendors<br \/>\nProvide supervision for execution of signed contracts for timely delivery of goods, works and services<br \/>\nRecord keeping for all procurement transactions<br \/>\n4. Support functioning of Amref Tender Committee<br \/>\nCoordinating Tender Committee meetings<br \/>\nProviding technical support to various Evaluation teams<br \/>\nReviewing various evaluation reports before submission and presentation to the Tender Committee<br \/>\nDrafting tender committee minutes and other correspondence letters<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nEducation and Experience<br \/>\nBachelor Degree of Procurement and Logistics Management<br \/>\nRegistered as approved Procurement and Supplies professional<br \/>\nCPSP Certificate<br \/>\nHave at least 5 years\u2019 experience in procurement and supplies undertaking, 2 years working at NGO\u2019s<br \/>\nKnowledge, Skills and Competencies<br \/>\nProven experience in procurement and logistics management<br \/>\nGood interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.<br \/>\nExperience in the Use of Procurement Systems.<br \/>\nAbility to handle multi tasks<br \/>\nAbility to Generate and analyse Procurement reports<br \/>\nAbility to Resolve disputes with suppliers and other stakeholders.<br \/>\nLanguages<br \/>\nProficiency in writing, reading and speaking English<br \/>\nProficiency in writing, reading and speaking Swahili<br \/>\nAdditional Information<br \/>\nPlease include a cover letter that highlights why you believe you are an ideal candidate for this role, along with your CV showcasing your relevant skills and experience.
