\nPosition Overview
\nThe Human Resource & Administration Manager will be responsible for leading the Human Resource and Administration functions of the Company. The role will focus on developing people strategies, strengthening administrative systems, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements, and supporting the Company\u2019s strategic objectives.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nHuman Resource Management<\/p>\n
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with applicable labor laws and best practices.
\nManage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of staff.
\nOversee performance management systems, staff appraisals, and career development initiatives.
\nCoordinate training and capacity-building programs to enhance staff competencies.
\nProvide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management.
\nEnsure compliance with employment legislation and internal HR controls.<\/p>\n
Administration & Corporate Services<\/p>\n
Oversee office administration, facilities management, and general support services.
\nManage relationships with service providers, vendors, and consultants.
\nEnsure effective records management and document control systems.
\nCoordinate Board and Management meetings, including preparation of agendas, papers, and minutes where applicable.
\nSupport implementation of corporate governance, policies, and internal procedures.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
\nA Master\u2019s degree and\/or professional HR certification (e.g. CPS(HR), SHRM, IHRM) will be an added advantage.
\nMinimum of 7 years\u2019 relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably within the financial services or mortgage finance sector.
\nStrong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
\nProven experience in administration, policy development, and people management.<\/p>\n
