{"id":3024,"date":"2025-12-31T18:02:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T18:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/ert-technician-at-sotta-mining\/"},"modified":"2026-01-14T00:50:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T00:50:07","slug":"ert-technician-at-sotta-mining","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=3024","title":{"rendered":"ERT Technician at Sotta Mining"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ERT Technician Position<br \/>\nJob Title:\u00a0ERT Technician (1 position) at Sotta Mining Corporation Limited \u2013 December 2025<br \/>\nReports to:\u00a0HSE\/ERT Superintendent<br \/>\nPosition Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Respond promptly to any incident or emergency.<br \/>\nAttend and actively participate in training sessions, fitness exercises, and practical drills including rope rescue, vehicle extrication, and firefighting.<br \/>\nEnsure regular inspection and readiness of emergency service equipment and vehicles.<br \/>\nPerform routine inspections of fire hydrants, hose reels, fire extinguishers, fire pumps, and other emergency response equipment and complete inspection sheets<br \/>\nAssist in the process of replenishing Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) cylinders.<br \/>\nParticipate in rescue operations and provide first response care to employees on site.<br \/>\nSupport site-wide HSE initiatives and comply with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and report any hazardous situations or near misses.<br \/>\nParticipate in malaria control activities including indoor residual spraying (IRS), larvicide application, and ensure proper maintenance and monitoring of spraying equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification\/ Experience\/ Skills<\/p>\n<p>Certificate in OHS or related discipline<br \/>\nBasic training in first aid, firefighting, etc<br \/>\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in similar roles or mining industry<\/p>\n<p>Duty Station:\u00a0Nyanzaga Site, Sengerema District, Mwanza\u00a0Contract type:\u00a0Specified Period of Time contract<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
