\nReports to:\u00a0HSE\/ERT Superintendent
\nThe ERT Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing emergency response plan and procedures at Sotta mining. This role must also report any threat or potential threat to the person in immediate charge of the working place or machinery in question.
\nPosition Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance of the incident investigation and reporting procedure and action tracking
\nAssist the HSE Superintendents or his delegate with collation of Environment health and safety and Community information
\nPromote safety and health within the workplace
\nMonitor disaster trends and events and provide relevant updates to key internal and external stakeholders as appropriate
\nDevelop new and update existing contingency plans and preparedness packs at regular intervals.
\nHelp deliver training on the Disaster Standard Operating Procedures
\nProvide frequent and appropriate emergency preparedness training to equipment operators.
\nCommunicate to departments with any emergency issue
\nAnalyse information and capture key learning during emergency responses to feed into the production of emergency response learning reports<\/p>\n
Qualification\/ Experience\/ Skills<\/p>\n
Tertiary degree in OHS or related discipline
\nEmergency response certificate
\nTrained\/certified firefighters, lifeguards, athletic trainers, police officers preferred
\nMinimum 5 years\u2019 experience in similar roles, 4 years\u2019 experience in mining industry<\/p>\n
Duty Station:\u00a0Nyanzaga Site, Sengerema District, Mwanza\u00a0Contract type:\u00a0Specified Period of Time contract
