\nKey Outputs<\/p>\n
Ensure you wear the correct uniform and that you are well presented at all times
\nEnsure high standard of personal hygiene
\nBe friendly, considerate and greet all guests and staff
\nMaintain open lines of communication with other staff
\nSupport the Senior Management in overall responsibility for the effective management and running of Mnemba Island
\nAssist in training and developing of staff as necessary
\nWork closely with the Management team to ensure a seamless daily operation.
\nPlacing daily operational orders in a timely and budget-sensitive manner, delegate as necessary.
\nParticipation in the management, implementation and updating of the lodge FBC to-do lists
\nEnsure that an environment, where the &Beyond Golden Thread and Brand Standard is continuously met and visible throughout the daily functioning of the lodge
\nEnsure lodge styling guide and styling updates are documented and work closely with the Hospitality training team to ensure clear communication
\nEnsure that administrative functions within the camps are maintained and monitor beverage control
\nEnsure that guest information and requests are shared and gathered for all guests arriving or departing to And Beyond properties
\nChecking in and out all guests
\nAssist with checking guests rooms and that guest areas are neat at all times
\nHost\/interact with guests daily and communicate feedback if necessary
\nBe aware of & make your chefs aware of special dietary needs and special occasions
\nAssist with Uniform orders and issues. Ensure all staff are wearing correct uniform at all times
\nOversee all Food and Beverage aspects of Mnemba Island and be sure they are to company standard
\nManage day to day guest itineraries & activities, ensuring guest delights happen daily and clear, effective communication between all departments happen
\nAttend management meetings
\nLead the green team and conservation initiatives on the island
\nKeep the region informed on Mnemba stories regularly
\nAssist with Social media and other PR related communication
\nManage Staff Delight activities, including andBeyond Life activities and staff swaps
\nAllow for flexible work hours
\nPay close attention to day sheet information such as dietary requirements and medical requirements for guests, eg. Bad back, Room configurations, pre-booked activities.
\nAssist in checking the lodge forecast and other office administration
\nYou must work towards the sustainability of each department and of the company (reduce waste and care for company property)
\nGo the extra mile for guests and staff
\nBe flexible when receiving unexpected requests from guests
\nConnect with guests daily to ensure they are happy and having a personalized experience.
\nBe motivated, friendly and proactive when dealing with lodge operations and guests expectations
\nBe responsible for upholding the &Beyond standards within the lodge Communicate regularly and effectively with staff & other departments<\/p>\n
Knowledge Required (qualifications Or Training Programs)<\/p>\n
Higher Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Hospitality Management
\n3-4 years\u2019 experience
\nComputer literate
\nFluent in English (oral and written)<\/p>\n
