Role Purpose
\nThe Product Manager will oversee the development and commercialization of electric powered vehicles. This role combines product innovation with market strategy and sales execution to ensure successful adoption and revenue growth. The position requires strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving product performance in a competitive market.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Develop and manage the product roadmap for electric powered vehicles.
\nDrive product innovation and ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
\nCollaborate with engineering, marketing, and operations teams to deliver high-quality products.
\nLead sales strategy for the product line, including pricing, positioning, and market penetration.
\nMonitor product performance and implement improvements based on feedback and analytics.
\nTeam management
\nEnsure compliance with regulatory standards and sustainability goals.
\nPreparation of reports on product, market and sales trends etc<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
\nMinimum\u00a03 years of experience\u00a0in product management, preferably in automotive or renewable energy sectors.
\nStrong understanding of EV technology
\nExcellent project management, analytical, and communication skills.
\nProven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.<\/p>\n
Preferred Experience<\/p>\n
Previous experience in electric vehicle or solar-powered product development.
\nFamiliarity with African market trends in sustainable transport.
\nExperience in Sales and after sales services for passenger cars
\nCorporate relations<\/p>\n
