Position Summary
\nThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and financial planning activities. The role supports business decision-making through accurate financial data and requires exposure to international or cross-border business environments.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records
\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
\nDevelop financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections
\nEnsure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, including Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) guidelines
\nPrepare financing plans and support funding-related activities
\nManage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and closing processes
\nSupport internal and external audits
\nPrepare financial reports and professional presentations using PowerPoint
\nPerform other standard accounting duties as required<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 relevant accounting experience
\nStrong and demonstrable accounting experience within an international environment
\nSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
\nExperience in financial forecasting and financial planning
\nKnowledge of tax compliance and regulatory frameworks
\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint<\/p>\n
