{"id":3086,"date":"2026-01-13T12:00:14","date_gmt":"2026-01-13T12:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/conservation-ranger-ii-assistant-wildlife-management-officer-28-at-tawa\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T00:50:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T00:50:11","slug":"conservation-ranger-ii-assistant-wildlife-management-officer-28-at-tawa","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=3086","title":{"rendered":"Conservation Ranger II \u2013 Assistant Wildlife Management Officer -28 at TAWA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>To conduct wildlife protection patrols;<br \/>\nTo collect trophies observed during patrol;<br \/>\nTo record poaching incidences, ecological and information;<br \/>\nTo manage crimes scenes and properly collecting exhibits and information;<br \/>\nTo arrest suspects;<br \/>\nTo take statements from suspects and charging compound fee for admitted wildlife related crimes;<br \/>\nTo provide written statement and testimony on suspects;<br \/>\nTo receive and send messages during patrols;<br \/>\nTo clean and safeguard of firearms;<br \/>\nTo support other general operations outside protected areas;<br \/>\nTo combat serious wildlife related crimes such as tourist attack, and armed robbery;<br \/>\nTo conduct special operations against poaching of endangered wild animals;<br \/>\nTo conduct problem animal controlling patrols;<br \/>\nTo assess damage caused by wildlife and preparing report;<br \/>\nTo control wild fires;<br \/>\nTo guard base camp;<br \/>\nTo supervise hunting and photographic tourism activities;<br \/>\nTo maintain records of tourism activities;<br \/>\nTo perform any other related duties that may be assigned by superior.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Holder of Diploma in Wildlife Management from a recognized institution.\u00a0Must have successfully attended Recruit Training Course.
