The roles will report to the Distribution Team Leader.<br \/>\nCCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue, and the largest on the continent. It accounts for over 40% of all Coca-Cola ready-to-drink beverages sold in Africa by volume. With over 14 000 employees in Africa, CCBA group services more than 800 000 customers with a host of international and local brands. CCBA group operates in 14 countries: South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi and the islands of Comoros and Mayotte<br \/>\nThe primary role of the Distribution Driver To move bulk stock between Coca-Cola Kwanza Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centres, on time and in full.<br \/>\nKey Duties &amp; Responsibilities<br \/>\nHauling of bulk stock (Primary Distribution) between Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centres \/ Local Distribution Partners and OCCD\u2019s<br \/>\nDelivery of stock (Secondary Distribution) to Direct Delivery customers and OCCD\u2019s<br \/>\nProviding professional and efficient customer service to the internal and external customers<br \/>\nCollect and handling of cash from customers<br \/>\nEnsure the cash collected is properly banked and settled accordingly without shortage<br \/>\nConducting and Compile necessary invoicing to ensure that all delivery documents are correct and checked.<br \/>\nTake full accountability of the allocated truck, Mobile device, stock and pallets on truck<br \/>\nCo-coordinating and receiving customer invoices.<br \/>\nPerform daily stock counts in an accurate and prompt manner.<br \/>\nComply with security checks and procedures<br \/>\nManagement and supervision of the crew on the truck<br \/>\nAbide by the traffic laws and regulations of the country<br \/>\nComply with company safety standards and ensures no fatality<br \/>\nSettlement of loads after every delivery<br \/>\nSkills, Experience &amp; Education<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\nVETA Driving Certificate<br \/>\nForm IV secondary education<br \/>\n3 years valid and applicable drivers licence<br \/>\nExperience<br \/>\n3 years of driving experience with clean driving record<br \/>\nPrior distribution driving experience with Haulier<br \/>\nPrepared to work fixed shifts at a specific time of day \/ days of the week<br \/>\nAwareness of logistics processes and understanding of inter-relationships between distribution and warehouse processes<br \/>\nMechanical knowledge and understanding required to keep vehicles under their control in a safe and operational condition according to the company and legal standards<br \/>\nEquipment handling knowledge and Truck and Stock asset care<br \/>\nUnderstanding of key performance indicators within Distribution that impact on internal and external customers<br \/>\nUnderstanding of distribution route planning and optimisation systems<br \/>\nTechnology savvy , able to operate (e.g. Mobile devices, Cab Cameras and Satellite tracking)<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
