The Overall Objective of the Action is to strengthen digital transformation and the green transition in Africa through enhanced partnerships for digital entrepreneurship and innovation. The specific\u00a0objectives\u00a0(SO) of the project include:<\/p>\n<p>SO\u00a01: Enhance digital entrepreneurship and innovation policies<br \/>\nSO 2: Strengthen Digital Innovation Ecosystems for Digital Transformation and Green Transition<br \/>\nSO 3: Improve access to finance for innovative (including women-led) ventures supporting Digital Transformation and Green Transition<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nAs part of the broader Team Europe implementing the AEDIB 2.0 action, Enabel is contributing to SO1 and SO2, with a specific focus on promoting women digital entrepreneurship, and supporting an inclusive and circular digital economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Function<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Project Manager\u00a0and working closely other thematic experts\u00a0and project partners;\u00a0the gender inclusive digital entrepreneurship national expert will work on:<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Strengthening Women in Tech communities at the national and regional level;\u00a0and<br \/>\nEnhancing their voices in policy dialogue, under outputs 1.1 (Enhanced coordination, collaboration, and communication processes for ecosystem leaders in Africa and Europe) and 1.2 (Enhanced capacities of policy-makers and ecosystem leaders to design, implement, and evaluate digital entrepreneurship and innovation policies)); within SO 1 \u201cEnhance digital entrepreneurship and innovation framework conditions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The expert will also support the capacity building of selected national institutions for the institutionalization of data collection related to women entrepreneurship and digitalization under output 1.3 (Enhanced research and knowledge sharing infrastructure and capacity based on open-sources principles) of SO 1.<\/p>\n<p>The specific responsibilities\u00a0entrusted to the\u00a0Expert are:<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A. Ensure the implementation of the gender inclusive digital entrepreneurship activities of AEDIB 2.0\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Identify\u00a0Women in Tech communities in selected partner countries and select relevant partners (based on a quality evaluation and\u00a0organisational\u00a0assessment)<\/p>\n<p>Identify\u00a0different regional Women in Tech\u00a0communities\u2019\u00a0networks and select best operational and strategic partner(s) for development of a continental network<\/p>\n<p>Develop and roll out capacity building programmes for selected Women in Tech communities<\/p>\n<p>Develop \/ strengthening a continental Women in Tech\u00a0(WiT)\u00a0Communities network, with relevant quality standards and principles<\/p>\n<p>Ensuring the integration of all national partner\u00a0WiT\u00a0communities into this regional network<\/p>\n<p>Enhancing\u00a0WiT\u00a0communities\u2019 participation in policy dialogues and co-creation sessions under output 1.2 (in close collaboration with RVO\u00a0(Netherlands Enterprise Agency), HAUS\u00a0(HAUS Administrative and Training Centre)\u00a0&amp;\u00a0EstDev\u00a0(Estonian Centre for International Development))<\/p>\n<p>Support a gender inclusive approach for all project activities under the responsibility of Enabel<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>B.\u00a0 Information exchange and collaboration with all partners of the AEDIB 2.0 project\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and\u00a0sharing information\u00a0with the\u00a0Project Manager\u00a0and other experts<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to sharing information with all Multi-Partner\u00a0Contribution Agreement\u00a0(MPCA)\u00a0members<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to co-create knowledge products, with a focus on women digital entrepreneurship<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The described tasks involve the necessity to network and interact with a multiplicity of institutions from and within the EU and Sub-Saharan countries and require readiness and ability to travel abroad when necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Profile,\u00a0Required\u00a0Qualifications, and Experience\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tanzanian National<\/p>\n<p>Master\u2019s degree in\u00a0economics or business administration,\u00a0gender\u00a0studies\u00a0or a related field\u00a0in social sciences<\/p>\n<p>At least 5 years professional experience working on business development with a focus on women<\/p>\n<p>Minimum 3 years of business development \/ support experience in the digital economy<\/p>\n<p>Required skills and knowledge:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Excellent interpersonal,\u00a0diplomatic\u00a0and partnership skills.<\/p>\n<p>Demonstrated professional experience in (results oriented) project management<\/p>\n<p>Ability to work with autonomy, manage and complete multiple projects\/ tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Ability\u00a0to work in complex multi-national settings is considered\u00a0an asset.<\/p>\n<p>Familiar with\u00a0general public\u00a0procurement rules and regulations and administrative management process<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nLanguages\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Very good\u00a0command of English (written and spoken)<\/p>\n<p>Proficiency\u00a0in French\u00a0(any level)\u00a0would be\u00a0an asset<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Applicants\u00a0are also required to\u202fcommit to the vision, mission, and values of Enabel.
